There is no point shoes in "firebird" ballet of Maurice Bejart.But I agree for the rest Clifton is perfect in this role

I worked with alvin ailey over the summer as and intern and let me tell you, these dancers are AMAZING. they work so hard and are so beautiful and kind. bravo!

In the Ailey company, the dancers are almost never in pointe shoes and they are most often barefoot.
