I love this guy question about cannabis. Yes, after a psychedelic experience, ever afterwards, your cannabis experience allow you to "flash back" or re-experience a glimpse of your psychedelic experience. I'm not sure why that is.
Its a experience in your life, of course you going to remember it. Do you remember your first bike ride or something like that? That's how you get a flashback of your previous experiences.
@TheNotoriousJesus For me, it wasn't like that. The psychedelic experience, especially at the dose ranges Terence McKenna recommends, wasn't something I could easily recall afterwards, and in smoking cannabis I didn't expect a "flashback," it sort of just happened. It's as though the cannabis triggers it somehow. Because the actual psychedelic experience was more state bounded, and difficult to recall, sort of like a vague dream you try to recollect, but can't quite seem to remember.
Hmm very interesting and mystical heh xD Id like to try DMT but I have no idea how to go by it. People say that you should start of with something weaker because you might not handle it but meh, I think I would heh. Never did any drug in my life, no point unless its something like DMT or Chronic. Tried Chronic, but only bit wasn't fan but will try in future if I get the chance ^^
@TheNotoriousJesus According to Terence McKenna, once you raise the dose on a tryptamine-based hallucinogen, that is LSD, psilocybin, LSA, etc., the hallucinations start to migrate towards the DMT flash. In other words, if you took something like 8 or 9 dried grams of psilocybe azurescens, at the height of the experience, the hallucinations would be indistinguishable from those of DMT. But, if you are a first timer, most people wouldn't recommend that, unless you're prepared of 6+ hours of hell.
Two main points to pass along: One has to have critical thinking logic skills to fully appreciate the meaning of any trip instead of just being blown away by the trip itself. And knowledge not turned into action isn't knowledge.
@tcdub92 I have since experienced DMT and have come to understand that I am (we all are) part of a dance of energy where a shining glimmer of light passes throughout the whole system we're in and when I accept WHATEVER IS GOING ON IN LIFE I'm allowed into the higher level where I can choose without prejudice because the ultimate tribe I'm a member of is the truth aka Holy Ghost (Mother Nature) and my authority comes from respect for what I've been given and giving my all, not just 10%.
wow after all that the guy interviewing joe or talking with him w/e.. still said he would rather go with the second choice at the very end... he has a long way to go but he will find his way someday..
human beings are so much older than we think we are. there are maps that date back to the 1500's that accurately show the landmass of the south pole, underneath the miles deep ice sheet, here's the killer, "we" never even new the south pole existed until 1911.
one of these maps (because there's a few of them) is called the oronteus finaeus map, after the man who made it, and it was published in 1531. finaeus states that he copied this map from much earlier source maps... but who made those?
if you want to see wht you see while on dmt check my video the omegapoint, its a pen drawing that most people dont beleive is pen when they see it, people think its some kind of fractal made to look like a sharpie drawing, over 300 hrs of intense work , a direct result of what these types of compounds can do, what can brown do for you
At 2:45 Joe says, "...once you've done it, everything else seems completely silly. Everything. The economy seems silly. Your life seems silly. Driving in traffic seems silly. Media seems silly. Everything seems temporary and silly." I haven't done DMT yet but I've heard alot about it from Terence McKenna, whom I saw speak in Seattle right before he passed on to the higher dimension. I have done acid understand how things are silly. Most of the time we are unconsciously role playing.

either way life's purpose isnt the same for everyone. doing drugs is a thing. its a choice. the reason the natural plants and substances like LSD and DMT are Schedule 1 is because they will make you wake up and say fuck society i want peace and my happiness not a 9-5 job working towards nothing. yes in life the way this world has become since the start of the 20th century is " the american dream" well thats a dream not worth living. ignorance is stupid. experience is introspective. <3 drugs<3
@sonofscars The funny thing is, that LSD and other drugs/plants can do marvelous things for societies. Many major leaps in science, philosophy, art, social organizing, music, etc over the last hundred years have come from altered minds. So while you or I might say fuck 9-5's, we'll still do something, just something different, new or old. On the whole I think society benefits from these drug trips. But many people fear change in society. But some welcome in chaos a chance to make life better.
Joe Rogan is the best at explaining how natural spiritual plants are so important for the human race. Too bad that they are not readily available. If you can't find a way to do dmt orally or smoked than your just predestined not to do it. People have been using dmt in various ways and forms since the invention of writing, and probably long before that. GoodLuck

@OGdank13 sup dank? i love joe rogan, but i hate when he needs to like talk down about everything and go baby style to people cuz they think what he is saying is bs

@bmilitant for real but with the kind of info the nig carrys most would straight up think hes crazy hes a good inbetween guy for the people who are just misinformed

@bmilitant 95% of americans aren't as "in the know" as joe, you or myself. thats why he has to explain it simply as if speaking to a child for the first time. if you want depth look into rupert sheldrake, terrance mckenna, or daniel pinchbeck- pinchbeck actually has a 2 part conversation with rogan here on youtube. its real thought provoking material
