I know that The Virtues have made a cover of that tune in 19?... and I seek for it. The tune in question was on the B-side of this re-edition of "Guitar Boogie Shuffle" on Mercury Records!
Did you add anything to this song because it seems different in a good way. How long have you been playing? I've been playing for six years and i'm eleven.
Yeah you rock! I'm going to learn this song soon i belive, trying to get started with blues on the piano, cause i can play, but not any specific songs :)
HAH! St. Louis Blues is one of my all-time favorites. Heard someone playing this YouTube post. Was loving it - then said: WAIT A MINUTE! That's gotta be Eeco's left hand. ... It is! I love it dude.
Now what we got here, is a good example of two things. First of all, that good piano playing ain't bad. Secondly, You need to know the roots if you want to achieve anything with your playing. (Plus you get much more out of playing for yourself). Look at Freakhead's favorites: Nothing but the blues. Cheers!
hey, quite nice, but i would recommend you to listen to Christian Bleimings version of St. Louis Blues and maybe copy some of those dirtier chords ;) It grooves like hell, really - I play that version myself.
OMG lol we had to learn this in piano class and i knew it was watered down but i didnt know it was THIS watered down lol.... this makes me wanna keep learnin piano! thanks!!!
