DS9 is really where they started to actually show damage on the set. i mean in TNG when they get shot ppl just jumped in their seats like it was moving, where in DS9 half the bridge explodes. also TNG didnt really have graphics. hell they used a big ship and a tiny camera to make it look like the ship was moving through space.
Gotta love how the Discovery Channel, which is supposed to be scientific, refers to space as a "zero gravity" area, and talks about blasting a ship "out of the galaxy." A minor dialogue issue, but interesting nonetheless. :)
