Help Please! We have a PT-AE4000. My problem is, when you look at the top of the screen it is straight, but when you look downwards, it is slanted going to the right. Can anyone help me? tnx.
@spyland21 My projector image was the same was by default. I don't have this projector, but mine has a setting called 'Keystone' which, when adjusted, is meant to correct the crookedness of the screen. Check and see if your projector has the same such setting.
@spyland21 Unfortunately, I'm no expert. As far as I know, Keystone should be the solution to your problem. Then again, as I mentioned, I don't have this model projector. In fact, I don't even have a Panasonic projector. You could probably get a better answer from the pros at AVSforum.
I'm having a problem with it... the problem is that in advanced meny I can't enter the settinins for TV system ( pal-ntsc...) The problem is that I cant connect any of video signals as: s video, component or composite ... thw result is blank screen or flickering... HELP ME PLEASE...
I know this has the auto zoom for 2:35 Cinemascope but does it have two anamorphic modes for use with a anamorphic lens? I'd like to use a anamorphic lens with NO slide and let the projector change the projection to show 16:9, 4:3, and 2:35 when using that anamorphic lens. I don't really care about the zoom..... it isn't true cinemascope at all.
Ever try to replace a Sony WV200 or 100 lamp. Over 750$. I have this projector and panasonic makes the best value by far projectors. The JVC is the only step up at $5000 starting to $11000. Optima 8500 is on par as well. Not as good a features and picture quality is slightly almost undetectably better. I keep saying... If this proj was $4000 and not 2 it would get more respect. It us priced lower than the model b4 it in used condition!
Awesome, but think about longevity - these things test horribly over long periods of moderate use. Panasonic know this, that is why the warrant won't cover the optical block if you watch for more than 4hrs at a time - read the fine print!
ya I love it, REAL NICE PIC I bought this with 138" 235.1 screen. Real nice in pitch blk room. only thing I cant get that 16.9 and 235.1 ratio as he says automatically fill the my whole screen is no such a thing @ 2:04 mine always stayed off just shows the regular ratio
This presentation made me to buy this projector and is on the way to my house., Love this GUY and his real detailed step by step info about this projector, made me change my mind to buying this instead the Sony W15 ,Im sure would love this projector instead CANT WAIT :)
have you by chance tried any gaming on this particular projector or know if it suffers from bad input lag, I myself have been interested in getting this projector for mainly watching movies, but also video games (PS3 in particular) so i would much appreciate if you knew
I have lagging problems with PS3 and that pana 4000 but I must try a few thing first to make sure it's not cable or amplifier problem. It wasn't doing it with my Pana900. To be continued...!
Has the projector arrived? Are you satisfied? I can't decide to get this one or the BenqW6000. Is the sharpness good? Do you see a difference when watching HD content and SD content?
how much does it cost?? i m whole new to projector thing

Lose the music.
It's painful having to listen to a continuous loud jingle when trying to listen to the commentary.
Please grow up!
