Hi Conniejazz,
The area has several "new urbanistic" communities. A quick walk to lunch, dinner, shopping, free movies under the stars, concerts etc. There's also a 12 mile bicycle path which allows people to move about the various communities without a car. Rosemary Beach a wonderful beachside community. We had the West Indies market last weekend and it's pretty jamming this week. Come visit!
