In other words, the Western media have labelled the elections in 2000 and 2004 as fraudulent without evidence. And what kind of evidence is this. Yes, it is unfortunate that this happened, but this is only one prison, and how can you prove to me that MDC supporters did not use the same techniques elsewhere. Note how Mugabe is blamed for the actions of an individual supporter.

I have to laugh at Zimbabwe. When you see them looking for water in Sewer filled rivers, Queueing for petrol and food, no medicine and no GDP. Why- they kick the people out who made food, which brought money into the country which paid for services. I have no sympathy for them. Food has officially run out at Harare Central and Remand Prison and unless immediate help is provided, the inmates will starve

To say that someone is a savage because he is black or white is stupid. To say that someone is a savage because he destroyed what has been built by several generations is correct! Mugabe is a savage. He inherited working industry and agriculture and destroyed it all. To be fair to him, he did not do it alone - he had many devoted members of ZANU-PF and "war veterans" to help him. The responsibility for the destruction is also partly shared by those who elected him on cheap populist slogans.

The scale of atrocities obscured Nazis: 3 FEB 1983: Mass beating of villagers and shooting of 2 young pregnant girls, followed by their being bayonetted open to reveal the still moving foetuses. 13 FEB 1983: Whole village beaten, and 7 shot dead, including a teacher, after digging their own grave. Witnesses refer to a fountain of blood from the pit.
