@sonicgreg they didn't tear it out just to make way for the simpsons ride. they tore it out because 2015 will be coming up 4 years from now, and that's the year that the ride takes you to. so yeah, if they would have considered the ride to be permanent, then everyone would be confused because it's 2015 (really it's 2011).
