I remember, back in around 2001, watching TechTV in like, kindergarden. Then when 2004 came around I was pretty much hooked. I pretty much grew up on TechTV/G4TechTV until the shit hit the fan in like, '07.

i miss anime unleashed too, they may be showing anime in 2011, but it's marvel anime, not stuff Like Dual Or R.O.D. The TV. granted, every shithead in america, the most ignorant and shitheaddiest country in the world, doesn't wanna show anime anymore, i mean, cinematech ne was ok, but they shouldn't have named it nocturnal emissions, maybe cinematch NEO would've been better. And focusing on Japanese games is much better than having all the more x-rated stuff that they had in their earlier eps.

G4TV is much like the modern gaming scene: shallow and uninteresting on the whole, while dismissive of the truly innovative as a gimmick. Last generation, people actually still cared about the games they made, and they had variety. Now it's FPS, FPS, FPS, RTS, FPS, FPS, JRPG, FPS, FPS. Look at G4's original, in house productions. X-Play and AotS. That's it. The network is as stale as the market it feeds. Sickening.
