  • I have a paraplegic friend named Tyler in Canada and he is building a pretty sick trike. What this guys doing is a whole another level.

  • Feeling normal again....how true ! Just bought my bike this Nov. I'm not a para or quad but my spine was messed to the point I could not ride. Your video is an inspiration to anybody with a disability.

  • Hi my name is jason i came off my bike back in 2008. i was 28 when i crashed broke T4 spinal cord. when i saw your link it gave me great hope i never thought i'd be able to ride a 2 wheeler again. i would love if you could do a kit 97 fire blade cbrr and what kid of money your looking for. be more then greatfull if you could get back to me thank you jason.

  • man you got balls, holy shit dude, had my accident in 82 was 18 years old T-12 / L-1 spinal cord

and i road a motorcycle too, the only one i could was a 1973 Honda automated maybe the only automated transmissions motorcycle made. just had to use front brake. but never would i do that again. yo, your Crazy but knows how to have fun,

  • Where can you get these landing gear wheels? I am an amputee who wants to go back to riding

  • amazing

  • Please let me have your info on how I can get in touch with you to buy this kit so that I can have my dream come true of riding again solo with just two wheels again my email is tarheelspokes @ hotmail dot com

  • please me more of your info on this design I would really love to have that set up for myself I am a T3 thru T5and I miss riding solo the way I did before my accident in 1988 !!!!!!!!!!

  • Very awesome invention! Keep up the great work!

  • Cool item but I find it useless.

No disrespect to this guy but I would think you are stuck on the bike.

He left the wheelchair at home in the garage and if he doesn't take it with him...He's stuck!

I would rather have a trike that I can carry me and my wheelchair. That way I can get off of it and go shopping or get into a friends house.

  • @doogiediamond -- Trikes dont lean, the difference between a dirt bike and a snowmobile and much like the difference between riding a streetbike and a trike or a can am Spyder. Im paralyzed and have my own adapted motorcycle, and it doesnt make it useless to not able able to get off it, we arent going grocery shopping, we want to feel what its like to have independence back. Like he says its nice to be able to leave your chair behind every once in a while. A bike is a toy, not a work vehicle.

  • @krisreckner The reason I find it useless is just my opinion.

If you are just going for a ride I can see this would be helpful...BUT, If you want to ride to work, the park, grocery store or basically anywhere you would need to get off the bike...I would think you would be stuck without having your chair with you.

Plus if after a couple hours and you need to go to the bathroom, Well..........

  • @doogiediamond It really goes to show how narrow minded some people are. You think that for someone condemned to live life in a wheelchair, that because it cant get groceries or function as a work vehicle, that it is basically USELESS to them. How about to experience life free of a chair for a couple hours? To do something that makes us feel 'normal' for a little while? And btw, if you do ever ride a motorcycle, let me know how often you get groceries with it.

  • @krisreckner In 1999 I had a back injury that landed me in a wheelchair for 2 years and I had to sell my bike.

In 2008 I herniated 3 discs in my back and am again in a wheelchair learning to walk (no feeling or motor skills from my knees down)

LIke I said, If all you're doing is taking the bike for a ride...This would work great.

But I used my bike for commuting, grocery shopping, visiting friends, just going places.

Personally I'm looking into leaning reverse trikes.

  • WOW, your awsome dude!! Right On:)

  • That is very cool Lee! Im T-12 complete- 15 yrs,now 38 and im JUST in the process of buying a wicked trike :) because i never even thoiught somthing like what youv done even exists! I love it. What would a conversion like yours run someone?? seems a WHOLE lot cheaper than goong a trike route...and a BETTER way too, just cooler :) and it seems really safe. Im going to show my wife when she gets up. your an inspiration to many Lee kind regards, Ron. mission b.c.CA

  • I destroyed my left ankle about 4 months ago, and I just started riding again in the last couple weeks. The entire time I was off my feet, all I could think about was riding my bike. Props for figuring out such a great way to do it.

  • How about the safety gear? Can you take all that stuff on by your self?

  • keep it up bro, best of luck , and AWSOME!!!

  • Now there is a guy who does not give up. Awesome!!

  • Like, even though your legs are hosed, you're an awesome dude. Now you need to develop a custom foldable wheelchair that you can stow in the relatively tiny compartments available as standard motorcycle accessories. Then you can be mobile at your destination. Keep on bikin'. Way to go, babe!

  • That is truely amazing!

  • Ejmplo de admiracion. Gente como tu deben salir por la tele para que otr@s personas puedan superar sus problemas, eres un ejemplo de superacion.

  • For any Aussies or Kiwis watching this, there's a young bloke in Perth, Western Australia who has developed a very similar outfit through a University of Western Australia initiative.

His name is Darren Lomman and he's designed a bike for "Dreamfit" - I think they make other converted vehicles too.

I'd love to see Wayne Rainey on one of these!

  • i wish him well on his development

  • RESPECT !

  • Dude that is so awesome. Clearly Mr Beaver is not handicapped by his condition.

My only question would be how do you get on with longer rides? Do you have a bracket to take your wheelchair with you or do you have someone follow you with it?

  • Hey, I have Cerebral Palsy, and I have my Washington State motorcycle endorsement I got at age 23. I am now 54, and I can't hold the weight of a bike up. I would have to have a very small bike, to be able to get on it, but this gives me hope of "flying" again. I say flying, because to me that is what a motorcycle is, total freedom! By the way, I am also a female. When I got my endorsement Not many women, let alone handicapped women had a motorcycle license. I love this!

  • i would love to ride a motorcycle... now i can thanks to this man!!! he should put some contact info on his page and how much would a system like that cost for a bike!!! that is cool man!!!

  • ok here you go if you need to get a hold of lee .....please give him a call leave him a message an he will call you back ... please leave your name an number .... #(928)399-0141

  • Thanks kevo6767, Lee appreciated, I think... like all paraplegic´s in his conditions, like me, that only want to do, is ride a bike again. Thanks once more for the information Kevo...

  • Dude. Mad props to you my friend. True rider.

  • Anyone from the USA that is interested you can call him at 928-399-0141. He lives in Bulls Head, AZ This kit is only for sportbikes an can only work with para's because you need good hands to work it.

  • Do you guys from Goldepictures, tell Lee Beaver about the message to him, here in youtube? Many people whant to buy him this system, so I think it was nice to have some ansers here... By the way, Beatiful Lee!... Marcos Mota from Portugal

  • waw so cool man .. i,m a d10 complete injured from Honda CBR 600, 9 years now .. it,s really amazing to make bike like this and use it!

    great job man!

  • I'm a T-11 Complete injured from a Kawasaki ZX10r at 110. Was going to make my bike custom with 4 wheels and the body and everything still the same but can't run the twisties with my buddies. I can with this setup. Where can I get info about this setup at? Let me know, thanks. Keep 2 wheels down and your head up. Later.

  • Olé tus huevos macho!! sigue así con ese espíritu de superación...... está claro a quien le gustan las motos, le gustan de verdad! me quito el sombrero.

  • Good stuff mate, I'm T6 since 2003 and still have my Ducati 996 Foggarty Rep sitting in my lounge, will the kit fit a Duc?

  • ya it should

  • Awesome! Proof that riding is part of our lives as much as anything else! Thanks for your work!

  • hello i was wondering what level you are if you dont mind im a c6 c7 from a gsxr i would love to get back on but i dont know if my balance is good enough

  • balance is not required but good hand function is

  • Sweet!!!

    Thanks for posting!

  • congrats man, hard to believe in your condition your still riding!!

if you want something bad enough, anything is possible... this vid is just proof of that!

  • How can I purchase a kit like that?

  • EL MAS GRANDE MOTOCICLISTA DEL MUNDO

  • That's pretty badass, if I had the ability to transfer onto a bike I'd have to get one. I severd my spinal cord at t3 in a bike accident 11/28/04. But I do have a pretty cool Chevy 2500HD that's modifed to get in with my chair. There is a vid of me getting into it on my profile. The one of the silverado with the nice paint job is my buddy steve's truck. I shot that vid a few weeks ago & just didn't think to have him inflate the bags. But he has a pretty badass setup as well.

  • Amazing. Great inspiration. Where can i get that kind of stuff when i get a bike?

  • fantastic, thank you for the inspiration. i,ve recently converted an R1 and learning to ride again. regards paraward

  • fantastic

  • hey lee whats been up? this is Billy Parker im on a friends computer so this is how to get in touch with me ill be waiting to hear from you

  • i think thats fuckin awesome!! this guy can ride like a everyday person again..props to whoever made this system... i have a friend who is in a similar situation, cant wait to send him the vid. thanks!!

  • WOW I neeeed this. I have pondered a system like this for a few yrs. I now have a sportster\sidecar setup with a hand\side shift I made. It works well, but i really want two wheels. I am thinking a Buell with bags for my chair.I know it is possible but with all the extra work involved with paralysis. Who has the time? Grreat Job man.

  • Call the designer (Lee Beaver) his # is listed in the "About this video." I'm sure he'd love to hear from you!

  • I was always worried that I'd have to give up riding if I were in a bad accident that caused me to lose the use of my legs, or my legs all together. I'm very glad that he has a solution. It makes me feel better. ( :

  • Very amazing, videos like this just make me feel so good, that people can persevere and that nothing can stop them from doing something they really love.

  • Outstanding.

  • There is a bloke here in Western Australia that has designed something like that.Who would've thought that we'd ever see this, well done i say.I wonder if Wayne Rainey would use this?

  • Darren Loman from Dreamfit. Very similar concept.

  • es o maior!

  • wicked man. glad to see you are able to ride again. thats is truly amazing, and inspiring.

  • Lee,that is awesome! Now all you need is an ultra light folding chair a saddle bag wheelchair lift and holder and you have transportation.

Are any of the adaptive parts you built for sale right now?

  • Hello, I need information the adaptation of moto, where is possible to be done and as it is the cost?
