yeah.i also felt that jkidd deserved the 2003 mvp..its amazing to lead a lottery team to the finals twice in a row and they didn't even notice it?however, they gave nash 2 mvp in a less competetive era

No doubt one of my favorite point guards I love J-Kidds game, no disrepect to Nash but J kidd was the original. Back to back in the finals (Nash got to the Conference once) and he got robbed in 03' for that MVP. They give Nash 2 with no finals apperance?

I think the injuries to Penny Hardaway and Hill led the media to cast Kobe as "the Next Jordan". cause they never talked about Kobe like that until both were out of the picture. But i still dont understand why they had to diminish people in this era (drafted before 2003) just to highlight Kobe (Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Allen Iverson, VInce Carter, McGrady)

i remember hearing about this guy being the heir to the nba throne and then watching him in action. Being a diehard MJ fan I was amazed and angry. Angry, because you could see that he just might surpass MJ and so I always relished in his failures and even his injury. But its sad to see a potential unfulfilled

Even after the injuries the guy can still play. He's better than most players ten years younger. It shows what a talent he is. He's just adapted his game to be less physical in the latter part of his career. Imagine the old Grant Hill with the jump shot he has now?

Being from Detroit and watching Grant play every night, he was amazing. People always talk about Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, and Michael Jordan. But if it wasn't for Grants injury, Hill would be in that group also. This is a guy who use to almost average a triple double. Any player that could put up 22 ppg 9 rpg 8 apg is the real deal.

A serious injury free career and he could of been as good as jordan. When he was with the pistons he was getting triple doubles in every second game the guy has game damn good at defense an all round player sham for the injuries. i agree with patd19 i hope he gets his ring.

If not for the injuries and surgeries after, we're talking about a first ballot Hall of Famer. Grant Hill in his prime was virtually unstoppable. I hope before he retires he gets a ring.
