You missed the US SEALs, probably the most pre-eminent unit of the United States armed forces. SEAL teams are active in virtually every corner of the globe and provide QRT for CIA and NSA operations, because of their Land Sea Air capability.

You missed the Delta Force. The US version of the SAS, the Delta's saw action with honour in Somalia and Vietnam.

You missed the Rangers. Another elite unit that has been in action around the world.

First, this list is incredibly inaccurate. You're grouping completely different SF and SOF units together. Its known worldwide that SAS and Delta Force cross train so frequently that its almost the same exact program. Also, you go from Army SF to Israeli SM. One is a Special Forces unit, while the other (along with Delta, Team six and SAS(R) are counter terrorist units. No idea what kind of training competition you conducted to see which group reigned victorious, but this list is far off.

@milkcarton18 except for the fact that the sas are the oldest of all these units with the most proven track record. furthermore the sas created many of the techniques used by the other sf units, and aids in their training. this is not to say they dont all share techniques and training, or to discredit any of the other units, as they are all vastly superior to a mere mortal like myself, but generally the sas are the most respected and have a wider variety of skill sets than, say, the green berets
