  • Just been on the beach this weekend, still has a wonderful presence about it, and hope to bring my sail boat down and enjoy the place ,and meet the wonderfull Northumberland people.

  • MrRids88 i'm interested to know where you come from because this is excactly how coble is pronounced. You're obviously not from Northumberland.

  • Didn't anyone tell the commentators......It's Coble (as in Cobbler) not Coaeble, as in cockburns !!!

  • newbiggin by the sea at the end(:

  • I met a fishermen named Colin Warwick from those parts at a conference in Maine one time.

  • I grew up in Boulmer and know Main and John really well. Remember watching this on TV and it still brings back great memories of being a kid and going down to greet the fishermen as they came home.

  • @Boulmer5 My grandfather had a coble in Boulmer (Norman Holland)...I remember Albert Stephenson when I was a kid...big Albert! I used to love waiting on the boats coming in and taking home the best salmon to my grandmother's place!

  • GREAT
