  • Hi Guy,

Hope you are doing well. I have MM. Was diagnosed in Nov 97.

I am doing well & in remission. My treatments were aredia, 3 rounds of VAD. No BMT.

I am better now than when diagnosed. See the Onocologist every 6 months.

All things are possible! Keep the Faith

Thanks, it does make us feel a lot better to know that we can survive this cancer. You're the proof. 13 years is great.

Thanks for sharing and keep on going ... for us.

    Guy

  • Watched this video August 4'th 2010. My name is Linda Bornette. I too have Multiple Myeloma, was diagnosed on March 12'th, 2009. (3'rd stage). I am 51 years old. My myeloma is in remission, have had an autologous transplant, July has been a year since. The transplant was not that bad for me, just dealt with some nausea throughout. So far I am experiencing some neuropathy in my feet from a maintenance chemo pill, 50 mg. Thalidomide. My Dr. cut it back to every other day. When is your next video?

Hi Linda. Happy to know that you are doing well. I'll discuss some issues in my next video. Stay tune. In the next few weeks.

    Hang-in there !

  • Glad to hear you are doing so well!! Good Luck in 2010.

  • Thanks you. And yes 2010 is a better year to come.
