i find the mp40 fires too slow and jumps around when you use the sights. The Thompson on the other hand dominates 3 out of 4 judge able stats( mobility is the same for all smgs) with better accuracy, rate of fire and range. The mp40 is a 3 hk and the Thompson is a 4 hk but the Thompson can fire its 4 faster thank the mp40 can fire its 3 so the Thompson is clearly the superior weapon stats wise. I guess its a personal preference though. I'd take the tommy over the mp40 any day.

I love both of these guns!!!!!!!!!!!! The Tommy would be the better gun if it didn't have such a small clip size (20); unlike the Tommy, the MP40 has more power and a bigger clip size (32), although the Tommy is far more accurate and has a faster rate of fire at a decent medium range

80% of kills are with the mp40 in games that shows its over used and gay as hell same goes for the acr in mw2 it was cool at first but than all the pros started using it and every one usese what the pros use also vengefullassassin smgs are this games assult rifles andi agry it is refressing to see new guns thrown in the mix but the thompson not a noob gun.
