OMG!! I just started watching this series on Netflix. I'm in the States and my fiance lives in Ireland, so I watch Bally K when I'm missing him badly! I just saw the episode where Assumpta died last night, and bawled my silly head off. Still have to watch the last episode of that series, but not looking forward to it. Not sure if I can watch any more with those two gone. But thanks for making this lovely tribute to their "relationship".

I loved this series Peter/Assumpta obviously the favourites but loved every character in each way, Ambrose etc etc. It also prompted a trip to Ireland (from oz) in Sep 2000. Went to Avoca, had a beer in the pub, stood on the bridge where Father Clifford stood etc etc etc.. Ahh the memories! Merry Christmas everyone!

This series prompted my trip to Ireland in Nov 2000...I actually performed the closed captioning (subtitling) for a good number of the episodes and I had to see the church and have a pint at Fitzgerald's...I had the pint, but after 3000 miles of travel, the church was CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION! LOL OY!

I stumbled upon this series on Netflix and have become absoloutely captured by all of it. This clip is phenoimenal. What wonderful characters. The actors are superb. Yes, the end of season 3 was heart wrenching but isn't that good drama? What a lasting effect! Great writing, great series. Unforgettable. Wish I had seen it sooner.

The character of Assumpta died at the end of Series 3 of Ballykissangel. This video was supposed to be her talking to Peter *after* she died, mourning the time they wasted but also comforting him that their love will endure.
