How do you execute the whip launch? If anyone knows please tell me. I would like to try that glitch using maxim.

it is very tiircky. you must be above an enemy or candle, press down A, then not press any directions, and with perfect timing press B just as soon as you hit the candle. It takes incredible frame precision, so I doubt you will ever do it in real time.
