I've been a Kiss fan since I was 14 in 77. I swear Paul must have had some vocal lessons around Animalize. He was alway a mid to semi high range and raspy. Now he's hitting notes that dogs fear. Listen to him around 3:20 and on when the song fades.

I love all eras of KISS but the 80s non make up KISS with Bruce and Eric Carr was the best era of KISS. It was just brilliant, the music they made in that era was just so good and they proved they can still rock without makeup.
