  • While I agree on the inspection, I don't see how you could realistically do it BEFORE the auction. I get the minumum bid amounts the day before the auction making it difficult to schedule an inspection unless you have a great relationship with your inspector. Most importantly, it's not legal to trespass on the property. You can't just break into a house the day before the auction and go romping around in the attic and crawlspace. Technically just peeking into the windows is trespassing.

  • That said, I'm more just interested in hearing how you are able to accomplish getting the inspection done prior to the auction as opposed to the "drive by evaluation".

  • Thanks for an excellent video on buying home foreclosures. These are some excellent tips for some new just starting out and very good reminders for a seasoned veteran.
