Diabolical editing and too little knowledge/ The 'Inter City' was more lilely travelling onto CSD or Fortwilliam for valeting........I imagine that this was shot after the 201s arrived before the De Dietrichs did (1994 to 1997) so there is no way that an Inter City train would have operated in service over the NCC line through Templepatrick even if such a service had ever existed..........bloody awful
Ireland is a shadow of its former self, 60% migrants in dublin, Rathkeale destroyed by travellers, Lidil, aldi polish shops blighting the landscape destroying local shops, too many foreginers allowed in.
SUPERB!! Bloody Yanks though, what is 'The Northern Ireland' If you must spout about the UK, at least say the place names (especially THE COUNTRIES) correctly! FFS.
I like how inconsistent the filming is. At first we see a 111 hauling the train. And then a few shots later it's a 201, and then it shoots into the cab of a 111, and a few shots later it's an 80 Class railcar on the service and at Central station it's a 111! It seems the cameramen had problems on reading NIR's timetables back then.
watched it 4 times now and i still can't believe Sam let a welt like this in his cab without us getting a view of the pilotworking in the cameraman's colon
Nice footage, but poor editing - shots of a 201 hauling Mk2's in Dublin, cab shots from a 111 class, 80 class pulling into Befast, then a 111 class leaving Belfast, but all presented as being the same train!
Service disruption: As of Friday 19th August 2009, the bridge over some estuary near Skerries has partially collapsed. I have this DVD too, I think the commentary should've been done by an Irishman.
Nice pictures but absolute rubbish commentary by an American who did little or no research. It would have been great to have had GM and mk2 through from Dublin to Derry but sadly never happened ( 3:37)

@NIR111Class Probably because they weren't in Irish. Irish timetables should have been provided...

So you noticed that as well?! The engine was also at the front of the train going to Londonderry, but at the back coming from Dublin.
Odd though that it was at the front when leaving Dublin! Seems to be just a hodge podge of clips put together!
