Lavos Core has always been one of my favorites. The que that starts at 5:08 has always been a favorite theme of mine. It needs to me remixed by someone like Yoko Shimomura.

Chrono Trigger was just an amazing RPG. There are some RPGs that get tiring after a while and then you just wish the game would end. I never even wanted this game to end on my first playthrough. Chrono Trigger will always live on

@minsecous "Sayian" is a reference to Dragon Ball/ Dragon Ball Z. It is a race of people with super strength and whatnot. The connection here is that the character artist in this game is the same Akira Toriyama that created Dragon Ball/Z. If you ever watch the PS1 animated Chrono Trigger cutscenes and see people say Crono looks like "Goku" they are referring to the main character of DBZ... Also Glenn (Frog) in his human form looks like "Vegeta", another main character in DBZ.

Did anybody else ever beat Lavos with just Crono on your team? Instead of going after Marle in the left teleporter which goes back in time, you go through the right teleporter, which brings you to Lavos. I managed to do it pretty easy with Crono at level 85 or so, it was a breeze at **. The ending you get is pretty cool, you get to walk around and talk to all the programmers.

That's why the game makes it difficult to level up past 50 without consciously trying. You always end up at about level 48 or so if you go through the NegrOmen i mean Black Omen and totally steal her prismatic armor :D

It should be noted for anyone whos never played this just how well this games attack sound effects sync-up with the music. Anyone whos cast Luminare, Dark Matter,Confusion, or seen Lavos cast Red Star or Dreamless, or open " The Doors of Destruction" knows exactly what I mean.

@Psychkemia they couldn't bring it to VC in north america because of dumb laws with the esrb having to rate any published game. it was rated when it first came out but since then the esrb changed it's system so it needed to rerate the game (yea it has to rate the ds and snes versions separately) before nintendo could put it on VC. however the game has recently been rated so that could mean it might be coming to VC soon.

The second form of lavos(that's inside of him) appears like cell from DBZ and his third last form appears like freeza. I'ts because Akira Toryama(HE CREATED THE WHOLE DB[IT INCLUDES DB AND DBZ]) worked in this game as a character designer!

@AdmiralBobbery123 Really, pure evil is just pure evil. No motivation. The same goes for pure good. Take note, Giegue was known as a wielder of evil, and he was just the leader of an alien race. Not Satan, per se. Giygas isn't evil incarnate, just a fool consumed by his own power which makes him pure evil power, but not the concept of evil itself. Sure, Pokey calls him evil incarnate, but what does he know? And Lavos is just a wannabe Cthulhu. Neither is evil incarnate. Just mighty evil beings.

Lavos theme has that "your doomed" feel that makes you know that lavos is a powerful force.

World Revolution has those drums and trumpets(?) that make it sound like a war march.

Lavos core has that spacey feel that only works for lavos, an alien.
