Just bought it on Xbox Live. The arcade mode is not as crazy as the clips you see in the trailer. But it is an amazing game!! On par with Pac Man Championship for Live.

You gotta make sure to hit the multi-colored saucers at the top, they take you into special bonus rounds like you see at 0:30. Then you go into Fever mode, and it gets even crazier.

Also, for the powerups (like the laser) you need to match colors of the invaders you kill. 4 Blues gets you a laser, 4 reds gets you a bomb shot, and 4 greens gives you the broad shot.

you can make the background darker and not animated in options. Makes it easier to see bullets and it is less busy. Yes this is a good game. One of the few for DS. Although it is just a good road-travel game or to kill time with your friends. Not a game you will spend hours with.

It is. There comes one beat for each shot you shoot. And when your shots get closer to a UFO (which are bonuses in this game), the sound changes.

It's a really cool. I tried the demo for PSP, and it's awesome. This game is worth buying.

I have it on my psp it looks slightly different but the gameplay's the same. Its surprisingly addictive, considering i didnt play space invaders before, and its definitely not easy. Very retro (even though i didnt really play the original) and very cool.

Both versions are pretty much the same expect that the DS has online multiplayer and uses both of the DS's 2 screens, and the PSP version is missing the online multiplayer, but of course, it has a much bigger screen compared to the DS. Both have there pros and cons.
