WoOw! I notice a relatively young audience. It's sad that if they were to perform in the States or even in Haiti, the audience would be older and, sadly fewer.I'm sorry to say that Haitians never realize what they have until it's gone.

Je suis définitivement conquise par la musique haitienne ainsi que par l'histoire de ce peuple résistant et amoureux de la vie, à l'image de sa musique unique au monde.Existe t-il un enregistrement audio de ce titre aux rythmes multiples avec la voix du chanteur que l'on peut voir ici, car il s'agit vraiment d'un mariage heureux ? Des groupes mythiques comme " frères Dejean" devraient réenregistrer d'urgence tous ces titres phares qui constituent le patrimoine musical des Antilles,merci !

Voila ce qu'on appelle COMPAS. Les jeunes musiciens haitiens devraient puiser cette source combien intarissable. Le compas que nos jeunes jouent aujourd'hui passent apres trois, six mois ou une année...pas plus. Mais les musiques des Freres Dejeans et celles d'autres orchestres tiendront leurs fraicheurs a jamais.

I agree with you 100% except Lionel Dejean was filling in for Fred here in this performance.  They certainly deserve their respect for the indelible imprint they have put on Konpa/Cadence music.

Much respect for Fred and Andre Dejean for keeping up the standard in Konpa. The young blood should be listening to the arangements and harmonies the horn were playing.
