Does this unit let you go into the front of an amp, and put effects through the amp's loop too? The Digitech RP1000 lets you do that which is a great idea. You can have the distortions into the fron of the amp and the mod effects through the amp's loop.

Thanks for posting this. I am interested in this unit. Until now, I was thinking it was only up to emulating the typical saturated-soldano-fake-vai type stuff. very convincing. Can I assume small country type tones like this sound even more convincing into the input of a clean tube combo amp?

the gt-10 does it for ya, you CAN set up 2 amps for each channel but you do not HAVE to.

cool, does GT-10 support only simulating the cabinet without amp modelling and effects.

I often use the following setup: JTM45 head -> ibanez TS9->THD hotplate ->Podxt 4x12 greenback cabinet sim ->head phones or PA.

Can the GT-10 replace the Podxt in my setup?

yes it will work with any amp

It will I use the GT-8 and the cleaner the amp is the better. You might want to look at using the effects loop return. I use a behringer gmx212 and its perfect. I use it in the Aux inputs skipping the pre-amp and its perfect.

@Albee213 I have the behringer 212, and i am so glad that i have come across somebody who has the begringer and the GT-10. i plan on buying the BOSS GT-10, but i was unsure weather or not they would be a good combination.Now i know XD. Your demos are very informative. There's really alot if things that unit can do. But why do you need an interface? Can't you go direct from the gt10 straight into the computer? Thanks

sure, it can be done - no problem. the problem was that i wanted to use protools to edit the audio, and protools will only work with the digi 001 interface.
