Dann sind wir uns ja einig. Und selbst, wenn es den elektronischen Körper der Arrangements beschreibt, so werden trotzdem, im gegensatz zu Techno, noch Instrumente verwendet. Und wenn es nur Synthys sind.

Diese ganze Diskussion um Stilrichtungen ist immer müssig und erstaunlicherweise sind die Musiker immer diejenigen, die sich am wenigsten Gedanken darüber machen. In diesem Sinne: Horns Up for Ernst Horn! ;-)

I don't mean to be knit-picky, but I believe this is Dark Wave, which originated in Germany, not EBM. I keep hearing people throwing around the term EBM but they use it interchangeably with trance AND dark wave, and they are completely different genres. Just my opinion.

I think you´re right. Its definitly Dark Wave! For me EBM = Nitzer Ebb, F242....although people use it for bands like Suicide Commando, SITD etc. The funny effect: People are going to "EBM-Partys" expecting the "wrong" music :D I always love their shocked faces...
