Yeah, it really sucked that both of those shows were on the same day. I still haven't seen Children of Bodom live either, which was another band I missed out on at the Lamb of God show.

The Haunted rules!!! However, shame on whoever cut this video for using all these amateur hour ass effects. Come on guys, you don't use boxes, ripple and swirl effects on a performance video.

Well, I probably could have done without the ripple, you're right there. The radial blur is questionable but I think the boxed effect was appropriate for the places I used it. I also did all of this filming with one camera so I think I edited in the close-up footage pretty well.

Cool, BUT... wildly zooming in and out to "match the music" is just stupid. Ever seen that in professionally shot material? No? Well, there's a reason for it.

actually, zooming in and out was wildly and uncontrollably used during the 80's in all and any metal video ;)

that's why today, videos don't suck, cause the zoom is trashed...and I totally agree, no damn reason to even touch the zoom.

This was my first time ever shooting a live performance and trying to make a music video out of it. I got really caught up in the moment and looking back I probably could have done without the zooms; I know it's a little cliche. Next time will be that much better, thanks for the critique.
