  • so this was in the eighties?? I've only seen paul merton hosting tgyh and he looks SO young here!

  • "And there I will a talk to him"

    "Oh"

    LMFAO

  • Who gave the goat-herding suggestion?

  • "Oh, you tit!" XD

  • now im convinced that john just makes up his whole author bit before coming on the show, he NEVEr uses the audiences suggestions or the stuff said by the others

  • How the hell did "Charlie Chaplin" turn into "medieval mystery play"???

  • Sam Peckinpah? Who's that?

  • @Sammy4549 big time movie director. if you are in the states, netflix 'the wild bunch' if you don't mind a bit of violence. it's a fine movie.

  • Lmao over the slapstick part.

  • Ahh, so happy to see this again. The Ron and Paul Film and Theater Styles bit here is probably my favorite of all time.

  • the original matrix :D

  • Ron West is interesting. He's not very funny on his own (he pretty much bombed in Authors but then nobody but Jimmy Mulville were all that good this time) but he and Paul Merton are easily one of my favorite Film & Theatre Styles combinations because they do tremendous physical comedy. I nearly lost it during the slapstick comedy bit, especially when Ron had to suddenly improvise the armchair.

  • ROMANCE!

    OF A SORT!

    A SORT I LIKE! ahahahaha

  • Paul is always wearing such interesting socks.

  • "Missed!"

  • Love Jimmy Mulville

  • I love you Jimmy! <3

  • That slapstick was hilarious! I love how they kept going while Clive was buzzing.

  • I always think that Ron and Paul had amazing chemistry in these shows.

  • John absolutely nailed that impersonation of Andy Warhol...

  • Fantastic energy between the underrated Ron and Paul

  • Another thing i liked is you can clearly hear someone say Charlie Chaplin, Clive asks, what's that, she repeats it.... Medevil Mystery Play... rofl.

  • Jimmy was spot on with Freud, he thinks everything in life relates to sex :D

  • love it! thanks for uploading :D
