at 2:05 the trackmobile passess a csx locomotive, looks like a gp38 or a gp 40 not sure, what paint scheme is that and where did you find it?

hi flymanjg, i also have atrackmobile from factory direct trains, my model does not have dcc but i'd like to add dcc ,any sugestions for decoders? love the smooth running eletrofrogs.

Well, according to the local hobby shop... he claims Broadway Limited has pushed back the delivery date to 3/2011. I'm beginning to think I'm never gonna own one of these cool little Trackmobiles???

BTW, love your videos my friend. I've spent most of my day checking them out off & on while doing my weekend duties around the hacienda, lol.

Finding one of these lil' HO scale Trackmobiles is like trying to find a dinosaur! I've attempted to order three to no avail? I just pre-ordered one last week & hopefully this one will come thru for me?  It says it will be available for shipment 01/2011 so, I'll let ya know how that pans out. Great video btw!!!

@flymanjg - Not yet - I proposed to my fiance in July and then found out 9 days later that I was gonna be a dad! Needless to say, that kind of changed my priorities for the next year, so our wedding is exactly one month away (we are paying for it), so that has taken all of my railroad money for this year. I am hoping that after the first of the year I can get back on it, though!

@gtasandman A track mobile was used by some industries to move freight cars around instead of using a locomotive. It's just another rail vehicle out there.

Obviously the trackmobile doesn't have sound and as much as I love Incubus, I have to say I'd much rather hear the room and wheel noise! Still great vid! I love this layout!

I bought the trackmobile and I'm ready to break it against the wall. It's get stuck on the track switchers. Do you have any solutions?

If you look at my other videos you will see that I powered all of my switch frogs. This enables you to run the track mobile or any other short wheel base switcher over your turnouts ar a crawl. It's not hard to power route the frogs. See my other videos.
