@lyris1 How exactly did they censor it? The UK has far more open media than the US. It's a Fox show and Murdoch owns both Fox and Sky, hence the show being carried on those networks...
@Dannycuk SKY used to cut just about every Simpsons episode. They'd remove words like "crap" and "ass", and cut out knives and other weapons. The "Bad Dream House" segment in the first Treehouse of Horror was slashed to bits by the censor-cunts.

The censorship of cartoons does border on the ridiculous, doesn't it.. they don't censor the news at 18:00 and there is certainly nothing more disturbing than what we see on that every evening....

Nearly every dirty joke was cut short, despite the show airing at about 8pm. They even cut out Chris saying "poo". It airs uncut now on BBC. It happened on 2nd September 1990 (to correct that date, the 1st time they appeared in the UK on satellite TV).
Well that promo went on all summer on Sky1 in that time.
