  • what difference does standing up or sitting down make?, SERIOUS QUESTION

  • Lol I meant to like it! NOT dislike the video YOUTUBE! ugh

  • farrrk bro. you got a pretty admirable physique

  • @mordeathmark - Thanks!

  • this looks easy (to you )

everytime i do db bicep curls after 4 set of 6~8reb of 70 barbell.

    i can't even curl a 25bd for 4 reps....

am i not resting enough or what....

  • @mofon1 Same here (: My bicep fatique and wont recover. I might do 15 reps first set of DB curls, and the next set after a break on 2-3 mins i can only hit like 10 reps - max!

  • Fucking beast.

  • biceps of a champ nice man!! im curling 45s right now as my max of course i can get like 5 reps

  • perfect. He was right on the edge of muscle failure.

Yeah, there was swing...but I mean, he's seated for one and if his arms are any indication, he's doing something right.

  • Comment removed

  • nice man. i cant even do 65 for 8 with the dumbbell bench press... sad... i know.

  • 1 Minute set??

  • Work on form.

  • @AndyHarglesis LOL shut the fuck up

  • Huge arms and impressive weight!

  • отличная техника брат

  • hey man, ive been training for years now and I have always used dumbbell curls as part of a basic biceps workout, but now I can control heavier weights, but they make my forearms burn by the time i reach the 6th rep, and since your arms stay just hanging through a lot of the exercise it burns more. Is this because of poor forearm training?

  • you could probably rip car doors off... lol goodjob man your a tank

  • Nice work! -thanks for your proper form advocation too

  • FINALLY. Someone who doesn't move their elbows forward when curling. Nice form, man. Keep it up.

  • i dont think sporto4323 needs advice, if y'all were watching the video and perhaps caught a glimpse of this dudes arms, obviously his theory is on point and moreover probably gets moved from the theory category to fact.

  • i can only curl up to 35 (8) reps. I tried to increase it.. (i only workout at school for my PE .. tuesday and thursday.. upto 20 minutes we have time)

Would u recommend me to do forced negatives to increase the weight for bicep curls?

  • funny how lil faggots that weigh 150 pounds with 13 inch arms come around and judge others that are much bigger and stronger then they are, you make yourself look foolish when you talk shit.

  • i seen a lot of your videos ur form is 100% right keep it up

  • @medoimad1 - Thanks! I appreciate that!

  • Out of curiosity- what do you listen too while your working out?

  • @moeller1234567890 - It all depends on the mood really - most of the time it's some form of 70s rock and roll!

  • @verano29 lol you dont know shit.. this isnt gym class little girl

  • @verano29 bro, ur theory that perfect form with baby weight makes u grow is a joke. i can't stress enough how incorrect this is. You have to overload the muscle, maintain DECENT form, and control the negative. you don't have to not move your elbow at all or sit so perfectly straight, that is not necessary and you will see that almost all successful bodybuilders train in this way. I hate this false information being spread as fact.

  • @Bsnakes - Agreed 100%!

  • @Bsnakes you would think that @verano29 would notice your results of having big arms...especially biceps? look at the size of your arms...if you were doing the workout wrong then you wouldn't have arms that big....nice job bro keep it up

  • @verano29 dumb cunt u dont no shit!

  • @verano29 Shut up you fucking prick that was impressive and if you were there watching him i doubt you would come over and give him advise. Internet warrior prick

  • @verano29 - The problem with this advice is that I am at a level of development where I need much heavier weight to overload the muscle to keep growing. Very tiny motions of swing and a very slight lean is not taking anything away from this lift and my arms continue to grow because of it. Your advice is more for beginners learning to lift propoerly for the first time and intermediate lifters who lift with their ego.

  • @Sporto4323 Couldn't have said it better myself... I found that if I am performing a lift with perfect form it usually means I am not overloading my muscles enough and it's time to move up. It is really the only way to keep getting bigger. Also, @Verano29, try keeping perfect form with barbells that bulky, its not easy. I find this form to be pretty damn good and there is barely any swinging.

  • @Sporto4323 You REALLY do get it. Nicely said.

  • @Sporto4323 Too be fair I can't give advise on bodybuilding at all but looking at the size of him, you can't really judge his training methods lmao.

  • @Sporto4323 verano29 advices is the most hilarious bullshit wich probably originated from that faggot scooby1961 wich is small for 25 years "natural bodybuilding without meat , vegetarian" who can barely dumbbell bench press 105lbs x9 LOL LOL AND LOL

  • @verano29 i really hope your trying to be funny because this guy has some of the best form ive seen on youtube especially for the weights he's using.

  • @verano29 um, its not about form its about results. judging by his arms, he doesnt need ur retarded advice

  • @verano29 there is nothing wrong with what he was doing.

  • @verano29 Stop giving advice, this is exactly why bullshit information floats around because people like you don't know what the hell they are talking about.

  • @verano29 lol at your stupidness lol you fucking moron retarded idiot, get off WoW and actually lift some weights , or ur just a stupid troll

  • @verano29 Look at his arms for god`s sake!! He must be do something right.

  • @verano29 He is a troll. The way you are typing is pretty obvious. Pure sarcasm.

  • @verano29 Calling this bad form just proves you've never lifted above 5kg

  • wow not only heavy but good form too, alot of ifbb pros lack that

  • Someone has stolen my user !!!!!! I didn't write those comments

  • are you drug free mate? :O

  • best siting curl i have seen .,i did 60 yesturday but youre form much beter...god job keep it up man))) i will try to do that for with 50 or 55 the most...

  • perfect form for 65lb curl.

  • very nice form man, glad to see you control and slow down the negative!

  • @MetalDrummer09 - Thanks! The negaitve is where most of the work is done!

  • @Sporto4323 if only everyone in the gym knew that!

  • thats really nice, keep up the work man

  • thats really nice, keep up the work man

  • your are teaching to use overweigh that's not correct.

  • @JUANBONILLA1 - No, I am teaching to use the most weight with good form, which is absolutely correct when trying to make gains. Thank you for you concern though :)

  • @JUANBONILLA1 wtf you dumbshit LEARN THE FACTS

  • @JUANBONILLA1 God i wish i could somehow smack you

  • @JUANBONILLA1 It's not correct weight for your pinner self

  • Good lift mate but for the form like some are saying it is not perfect you twist your torso a lot. Second I think you are on juice.

  • @HiggsPat - I never claimed to be perfect, but I would have to disagree and say my form is actually pretty good, and because of that, my arms were able to make noticeable improvements since the last time i stepped on stage. So I must be doing something right :) And thank you for thinking I'm on juice - that's the best compliment a natural can get!

  • awesome job on the negative aspect on the set.

  • @mlr6213 Thanks!

  • The one exercise that Ive got you beat in:)

  • Nice! My only question is, how did you drive home that day? After workouts like this your arms feel 100lbs.

  • @crfranchises1 - Not to mention how hard it is just to rub shampoo on your head lol!

  • Someone is cross training "backwards" on the background, rofl. I wonder if it's on purpose.

  • insane strength! haha i saw a guy with like 22 inch arms and he was only curling 35's....

  • @TheHardTruth101 - Thanks!

  • @TheHardTruth101 apparently he was doin somethin right lol

  • @TheHardTruth101 its hard to judge though, because he could have done other things that worked the biceps prior and now his biceps were just really tired. like rows or pull ups or something. I know bicep curls are always the last excercise i do, so i'm never fresh and i curl less than i would normally

  • @TheHardTruth101 His arms are damn big tooo :O

  • @TheHardTruth101 maybe he was warming up ?! :D

  • nice man, i really like how you do the negative in a controlled manner. Not alot of ppl underscore the negative rep, nice man respect.

  • good job nice form.

  • wtf, that was good form. you even added resistance when you were lowering the db. i dont know what everyone is talking about. thats how you train your biceps....

  • Great biceps workout, keep it up and ignore all the stupid comments, must be doing something right :D

  • wtf man...his form is PERFECT...idk who the hell can say this is a cheating form....its as controlled as perfect...nice guns man ;)

  • This is fantastic form. Impressive weight also.

  • Personally, my approach to the gym is being cocky and arrogant about how big and developed I can get my muscles with minimal weight on the bar. Not maximal weight on the bar. Listening to some of the other recent comments might actually help you improve your already impressive physique. Your appreciation for the gym will improve the more open minded you become.

ps. my opinion. the biceps really do not take much to grow, and are highly suceptable to injury.

  • ok, tell me this then. Do you feel any tightness in your back or feel you'r back when you do this?

  • @tropicthunderdancers Nope! But thanks for your concern! All I know is my arms have never been bigger, leaner, or stronger...so I must be doing something right!

  • Good weight with good form, but are you natural or juicin?

  • Not to be rude dude but....you lean to much on each side to pull it off. what might help is hold one db half way up as you curl with the other hand then repeat.

  • @tropicthunderdancers

I don't think it's rude - just your opinion. I'll have to disagree with you though as I don't think the slight lean takes away from the lift at all...

  • @Sporto4323 without leaning its hard to raise the dumbell past the quad, and to squeeze the bicep. If this guy thinks holding the dumbell half way you would burnout the bicep before even completing one set of full motion.

  • @wohizz Trust me, I don't pay much attention anymore to people who troll...I just keep doing what works for me and let them yap...

  • @tropicthunderdancers

You are an idiot, the dude is obviously strong and the slight lean is simply to keep balance. I love these people who criticize form and probably still curl 15's in their parents basement. Good hard work man keep it up!!!

  • @peters2185 lol, Dude you dont even know what you're talking about. I lift the same weight of db's as the guy in the video. Obviously? You kidding me? Shows how much you know. Hypocrite!!

  • @tropicthunderdancers How are my a hypocrite? Yes i lift too, 4 days a week and as intense as any bodybuilder. Sometimes you need to sacrifice form to increase size and strength. Look up a guy named Arnold Scharzafuck u...or something like that. Cheater curls are his one of his favorite exercises. Haters are a dime a dozen and never put up, so shut up.

  • @peters2185 Shows how much you know rookie. Dont use Arnold, he he was on drugs and still was not the all time great. One more thing, learn to spell before you insult DUMB ASS!!!

  • @tropicthunderdancers Once again, put up or shut up fool. I dont see any videos with you in them so who the fuck are you to criticize?? You dont think all these bodybuilders are on test. boosters and illegal drugs?? How about you show your build and strength in a video and then talk some shit. Like I said dime a dozen.

  • @peters2185 Why you still writing to me? I will, if you make one. simple as that.

  • @tropicthunderdancers Whatever lift u want bud...I will hold my own no problem. Put your best lift up and I will better it. I will be waiting...all this because you could not keep your fat mouth shut and give a guy some credit. Post away chump.

  • excellent form, keep up the good work

  • Doesn't that suck some muscles just don't grow to the same training as others. I go real heavy on biceps like you do and they tend to only get sore on barbell curls and heavy preachers with my fingers supporting it with the other hand, so that I don't over-stretch the tendon.

  • i ve seen some vids of you and i should say that you have a veery god and strict form man..keep up good reps and heavy weights...

  • Thanks! I appreciate that!

  • burn baby burn oh year. good form.

  • good lifts!

  • hi i was just wondering, should i cut or bulk? i used to be 5 foot 10 192lbs, my bench was 225 my squat was 315 and my deadlift was 405. i really didnt feel strong for my weight so i decided to cut and also cause i felt kinda chubby. right now im 178lbs at 5 foot 10 but i lost a lot of strength. i dont think i lost that much fat, my waist used to be a 36 now its a 34. what do you think i should do? should i cut or go back to bulking, i still feel pretty chubby.

  • I would recomp. Don't look at bulking as in putting on weight. If you don't control your nutrition during a bulk, all you get is fat.

  • Excellent work man. What body type are you, Endomorph, Ectomorph, or Mesomorph?

  • Probably more of a mesomorph than anything else...

  • Whoa! Pretty strict form! Just want to let you know that you're one of my role-models when it comes to natural bodybuilders as I'm aspiring to be one as well :)

  • Thanks...I appreciate that!

  • haha wow impresive. almost no swing on your upperbody, thats a heavy load.

  • Thanks! I've really been trying to bring my biceps up because thet are a weak point - so that means a lot!

  • oh yea doing the slow negative of the rep, where the building of muscle happens. im working on competing in 2010 in a natural show or two, keep up the hard work

  • Nice...let me know if there's anything I can do to help!

  • Man your a monster, are you natural?

    How long you been training?

  • I'm definitely a natural :) I've been weight training since I was 17, but it was always sport specific for baseball up until I was 24. I have been training specifically for bodybuilding for about 5 years now...

  • very nice! i love the sensation when we close the eyes to give everything we have to finish to set! nice job

  • Except when we open our eyes and can't see because of the blood rush! LOL

  • hey tommy, i see you're a member of team scivation , did you ever try their cha diet? i remember on the documental that you mentioned that you didnt had the right vehicle till you met layne. Im kinda in that same road but scivation offers free diet but it seems too much like a ckd (keto diet)to me and ive tried that with little success should i try them or try layne?

btw, does layne still work w you currently or are you experimenting it yourself. You look huge and still lean. Yor are rockinit!

  • I have tried low carb diets before but they are definitely not for me. Both Layne and myself do consulting, but we both charge for our services, so you just have to weigh your options and do what best fits you!

  • Awesome! Someone to show us how to do this exercise properly! Keep them coming! Thanks!

  • Will do!

  • your videos are great. I just started doing a 3-1-3 tempo and it's really intense. The cool thing about what you're doing is that its burning alot more body fat than a regular tempo.

One question for you, i'm considering getting rid of the smith machine for my workouts and i'm curious as to how you feel about them?

  • Thanks Kenny...the smith machine can still be useful for a few things if you don't have a spotter. For instance, if you do rest pause sets or need to do a military press without a spotter, I would suggest using a smith machine.

  • If you don't mind me asking... what is a 3-1-3 tempo?

  • 3-1-3 tempo just means 3 seconds up, 1 second hold, 3 seconds down. So if you are doing bicep curls, 3 seconds up, 1 second hold and squeeze of the bicep, and 3 seconds down. The 3 seconds down is called the negative, which people don't focus on like they should.

  • That, and I believe Dorain Yates once said that if you can't squeeze the muscle(s) at the top of the concentric part of the lift for at least a count, then you didn't use the intended muscle(s) during the lift in the first place.

  • Hey alright! Thanks a lot!

  • That's very impressive but it looked like you were holding your breath on most of the concentric portions lol you gotta breathe man! Could have been why you were losing vision.

  • Yeah, lol, I use valsalva for just about every lift...I start to feel it when I do hypertrophy work :)

  • thats some serious shit bro!

    good job :)

  • Thanx, appreciate watching good form -- helps us all!

  • Thanks! I agree, I would much rather try to do all I can with great form and concentrate on the eccentric part of the movement than do more weight in a cheat/forced fashion.

  • Outstanding form, especially considering the weight. I don't care what any of the Youtube warriors say: doing a strict set with 65s is strong.

  • Man you are bigger than your last videos! great job!
