ive had 4 hamters and 2 gerbils my first junior died because he ascaped his cage and we coundnt find him 5 days later we found him dead my 2nd was jorgina she died of old age she was my best and my 3rd ruu he was a russian dwarf hamster and died of a heart attack and my 4th mrs hamster still breathing for 3 year and still got alot of life inside of her and my gerbils first maggie the tinest died of old age and lisa died of a broken heart i understand your pain

The vet called me , I never even got to say good bye ...This is my second day crying my eyes out and I still can't get over it ... She was so special to me ... I used to have a baby hamster named Oreo tooo! D: But then since its jus a baby its really weak. And Well me and my friend both took care of it. And one day it died. probably it's cos it's still young and it doesn't know how to do much. I mean I would've put her together with Panda since Panda's a mother herself. And well I tried putting em together but Panda didn't like it. . Well when Oreo passed away, I out it in a small accessory bag, and buried it under a small tree in a park. :P
this made me cry because i used to have this hamster named candyheart. ooooh how i loved her. the way she cuddled with me and fell asleep in my lap. i cried so hard that day because she was so special. R.I.P candyheart. and R.I.P panda. they are both in hamster heaven watching down on us. god bless you.

I remember like i was sitting on the couch watching TV and i was cuddling in my blankets and it was sleeping on top of my blankets and it curls when it sleep. and it's really cute. Mostly its like.. the only hamster that trust me enough to sleep with me. It licked tears off my face before too. And so many other memories that i can never forget.
aww i feel so sorry for you because i know how you feel my hamster millie died today, i took her to the vet in the morning to be put to sleep because she was so week evertime i held her she wouldnt move....when she was in her bed she couldnt even get up for her food, so i tried hand feeding her but it did not work....when we got to the vets the woman felt her tummy before she went and she said she could feel lumps and bumps so hse said she could of had cancer :( i miss her so much! R.I.P Millie

oh.. you should handle them with care. They have little bones, like a baby's. If you were to keep pets, you have to learn how to be responsible. and be careful don't do it again.
This reminds of my hamster Cheese&Cookie I'm so sad my bought them when I was in first grade and they both died in the same month. That's when I was in 3rd grade. I wish I made a video about him when he was still alive. When I saw this I cried. Now I'm feeling guilty myself. Cheese died of an old age and Cookie died of cancer. I burst into tears although when they both died. I have the same cages as you MiniCookiez. I'm so sad :( I am really criying right now. Sniff sniff

OMG, i'm really sorry. I know how it feels to lose a beloved furry pet. My hamster, who's name was Panda, too, died on Sunday. I'm still pretty sad about it, but think about it, she's in a better place now. she is as energetic as she was before. I hope Panda, Panda (mine) and Whiskers meet in heaven. :)

my hamster died today 12/5/08.... iv had hamsters before but this one didn't last more than 2 months....but he didn't die normaly when i found him he was bleeding between his legs, does any body know what he could have died from
he could have died of "wet tail" it is common in hamsters who don't have enough food, sleep, or excercise. First, it starts with diarhhea, then the hamster's rectum may collapse(i have no idea what a rectum is but i read some hamster books and it's something that helps with digestion.)
before he passed away, was your hamster acting abnormal? if so, it'd be a better solution if you've had brought it to the veet :/ but sorry to hear that.
oh yeah, I forgot. We got her from a friend in september 2007, now its November 9 2008. Its terrible because we were going to take her to a vet, but they were closed yesterday and now.... its...too late. I am sobbing so hard as I write this. We wrapped her in a shroud, put her in a coffin(box) and I wrote Rest In Peace Bubbles, you will always be loved and missed. RIP Bubbys, Goodbye <3. I couldnt bear to see her in such pain last night!!! i miss her so much I could die!
oh.. aww. yeah , panda and i been through alot together, when i say ALOT i meant it, long story. and the day when panda was passing away, i was there to watch her last 2 hours of life. It was painful watching her breathing like that. i kept crying, and i wrapped her in a cutted cloth (thats really cute) and placed her in a box wid some beddings and food some flowers, and a letter for her and how special she is to me. Then i closed the box, and put her picture on top. wrote R.I.P panda.
My bubbles a black bear hamster passed on a few hours ago. Im crying so hard right now. I miss her so much. She was the best hamster inn the world. The last thing I did to her was pick her up, tell her I love her, tell her shes the best hamster in the world and she always will be no matter what, kiss her, and say goodbye. That was last night. She was always a warm little puffball, but last night she felt so cold and limp... I will always love her and miss her. I hope she meets Panda in heaven.<3

well technically, loving something forever is possible, as long as you keep your word, no where how far it is away from you. As long as you truly love it, distance shouldn't mattter at all. It's brothers would someday also understand that their loving brother is in heaven where theres eternal spring, and isn't suffering no more, and is feeling happy and having fun. Shouldn't cry so much like i did, i cried yesterday about it too, but i bet your hamster wont wanna see you cry, so be happy :]

i used to have two hamsters coz the shop kepers didnt want it coz it had a deformed eye we didnt know the sex we realised the sex when my hamster (pekin) had 9 babies with my brothers hamster (skull) it was crowded and we gave most of the hamsters to the petshop but we kept 2 i gave one to my riend for her birthday but after 1 week it died coz they kept it next to the heater (stupid idiots) mine is lost coz my bro kept the cage door open and his died coz his friends cat ate it

i accualy cried at the end 4some reason.. i guess it because it remind me of my hamster candy....i missed candy because when i came home from school, candy looked like she was in pain and then a few mins later... she passed away :'( i miss you panda and i miss you too candy... u are both in a better place now :'(

OMG, i'm really sorry. I know how it feels to lose a beloved furry pet. My hamster, who's name was Panda, too, died on Sunday. I'm still pretty sad about it, but think about it, she's in a better place now. she is as energetic as she was before. I hope Panda, Panda (mine) and Whiskers meet in heaven. :)

oh well. the regular lifespan of a teddy bear hamster is around 2-3 years. it's most unlikely that it'd last for 5 years.
my hamster lived for aleast 2 and a half year. and np.

my hamster died today 12/5/08.... iv had hamsters before but this one didn't last more than 2 months....but he didn't die normaly when i found him he was bleeding between his legs, does any body know what he could have died from

he could have died of "wet tail" it is common in hamsters who don't have enough food, sleep, or excercise. First, it starts with diarhhea, then the hamster's rectum may collapse(i have no idea what a rectum is but i read some hamster books and it's something that helps with digestion.)

before he passed away, was your hamster acting abnormal? if so, it'd be a better solution if you've had brought it to the veet :/ but sorry to hear that.

oh yeah, I forgot. We got her from a friend in september 2007, now its November 9 2008. Its terrible because we were going to take her to a vet, but they were closed yesterday and now.... its...too late. I am sobbing so hard as I write this. We wrapped her in a shroud, put her in a coffin(box) and I wrote Rest In Peace Bubbles, you will always be loved and missed. RIP Bubbys, Goodbye <3. I couldnt bear to see her in such pain last night!!! i miss her so much I could die!

oh.. aww. yeah , panda and i been through alot together, when i say ALOT i meant it, long story. and the day when panda was passing away, i was there to watch her last 2 hours of life. It was painful watching her breathing like that. i kept crying, and i wrapped her in a cutted cloth (thats really cute) and placed her in a box wid some beddings and food some flowers, and a letter for her and how special she is to me. Then i closed the box, and put her picture on top. wrote R.I.P panda.

My bubbles a black bear hamster passed on a few hours ago. Im crying so hard right now. I miss her so much. She was the best hamster inn the world. The last thing I did to her was pick her up, tell her I love her, tell her shes the best hamster in the world and she always will be no matter what, kiss her, and say goodbye. That was last night. She was always a warm little puffball, but last night she felt so cold and limp... I will always love her and miss her. I hope she meets Panda in heaven.<3

i always wanted a hamster! i had a fish and it died bc my stupid friend( meliney ) kept touching it when it was in the bowel. and i had a dog she ran away but i think thats shes dead i miss her i cry almost everytime and now i have 3 pet lizards and 2 birds the lizards live outside but i always see them they dont go away

i lost my baby hamster moon 2 days ago, my stupid cat killed him, i cried for so long.. :(, i can never forget him! i said only afew short days ago, i would love you forever to him, but i guess loving something forever just isnt possible... his poor brothers, bramble, brownie n smokie are left heartbroken n lost. :(

well technically, loving something forever is possible, as long as you keep your word, no where how far it is away from you. As long as you truly love it, distance shouldn't mattter at all. It's brothers would someday also understand that their loving brother is in heaven where theres eternal spring, and isn't suffering no more, and is feeling happy and having fun. Shouldn't cry so much like i did, i cried yesterday about it too, but i bet your hamster wont wanna see you cry, so be happy :]

i used to have two hamsters coz the shop kepers didnt want it coz it had a deformed eye we didnt know the sex we realised the sex when my hamster (pekin) had 9 babies with my brothers hamster (skull) it was crowded and we gave most of the hamsters to the petshop but we kept 2 i gave one to my riend for her birthday but after 1 week it died coz they kept it next to the heater (stupid idiots) mine is lost coz my bro kept the cage door open and his died coz his friends cat ate it

My hamster died 11 days after I got him for my birthday. I try my best to visit everyday and sometimes leave notes. It really helps.
