The last one produced was 1999 but realistically the only ones on sale are at most 1993-4 nothing later. That said the body has seen 15 years of wear and tear as well as the engine. Hey, I commented on this vid a while back and, im commenting again cuz i was just wondering if you notice any like, throttle response difference with the HKS BOV, like does it respond slower or the same? and do you run a little rich between shifts?

@strenght99 There is no difference from when it is stock (throttle response wise) A BOV is NOT a performance upgrade / downgrade. The only slight difference is, yes it runs slightly richer due to the fact that my AFM system meters pre-turbo air and the recirculation (stock) is counted as metered air, when it vents off, the ecu runs slightly richer. This is not true for GenIII engines or any MAP / MAF sensor-type vehicles that meter air post forced induction.

I just bought a '91 turbo and the asian that had it before me is a discrase to mr2's. The way i figure, I saved the car. I'm dropping a grand into the suspension alone. Just parts. Putting it on is free, by me. Turbo is blown, but the engine has 182,000 miles and kickin ass and taking names. this winter, complete re-build. Salad sauce is on the way.

@Asspooturk They are pretty quick stock. They are mid 14's on the quarter stock (turbo) For Gen 2 and mid 13's on the quarter stock JDM Gen III turbo. With a few simple mods they do really well. They are meant more for track racing and handling then straight's though. You'd be fine in a MR2 NA if you are worried about too much HP, they still move well, and handle great.

@APoole16 Yes, this exhaust is pretty nice and throaty. It doesn't get too loud unless you have an aftermarket turbo / cams and a downpipe. So if you just get the cat back w/o downpipe you'll be just fine for highway driving, not too loud and nice and low / throaty.
