few questions.... um... why would i need an rfid to tell me where my server is and am i letting just anyone in my server room to take it away? also, what frequency do these run at and what sort of security do they have?
1. Large data centers can have 1000's of racks and about 40 devices per rack. This solution helps you locate and track IT assets in large environments.
2. The tags operate at 433Mhz. The tags transmit and the readers receive.
3. The data transmitted by the tags is only license plate data; i.e. a unique tag ID. What that tag is associated to is held in the software and never transmitted wirelessly. Very secure and does not use WiFi so you don't have a security exposure.

Dude have you ever been in a large data center? If so, you wouldn't be asking the first or the second question.
