That was fun - It struck me at the march that the kids I saw there were doing the same thing I was 20 plus years ago, and stumbling across your video tonight with a remake of a song from when I was a young gay guy - (although the Kim Wilde version is better..... well, it is) with the new generation continuing the fight - very fitting.
The US is so influental on the rest of the world, I thank you all so much for marching and fighting for our rights over there... I live in Hungary now and things like that would not be possible here. I will join you in 2010!

So-called "gay rights" has absolutely nothing to do with equality. One example is hate crime legislation, whereby an assault directed at a gay person will bring a different (greater) penalty than upon someone else. Different is obviously not equal!!!! Talk to me about equality when we all share the same public bathrooms and there are no gender distinctions on sports teams. Also, the Oscars can drop "best actor" and "best actress" and have just one award. I won't be holding my breath...
Awesome video! I agree with you Ascottw...kids still have a struggle nowadays....nothing like it was when I was a kid....but problems just the same. Quite the appropriate song to go with the message too!
Children of this generation have a lot better acceptance rate than they did 10 years ago. This is true. However, that still doesn't make their struggle easy. As a kid typically you have your peers who are against you just for being LGBT. Then add to that "parents" and other "adults" who also are against you. Then add to that the legislators who make laws to protect hatred in schools and the community. They still have a battle from all sides. Equality for every generation is what we need.
