i never prayed at the shrine, i always just hung out with people and used the day to grind or something. of course I didn't get nearly all the social links maxed out. >__>

@Enum995 It's useful when it's a rainy day or you have most social link maxed and you don't have any available at that point. I could say that thanks to the shrine I got every SL Maxed.

@EmiruKnight yeah that would be my problem there. Every rainy day I went grinding for hard monsters, studying to get double knowledge or fishing - and I never even caught many stupid fish. I hear the game will be remade for psp like P3P. If so I will get all max SLinks next time

@Enum995 It will be for Vita though. But yeah, you have to use every moment available to increase your social stats and then the social links.
