  • This isn't Williamston North Carolina. This is Williamston MICHIGAN.

  • @jenngonemad Thank you for the correction ;)

  • The title says north carolina but didn't they say something about michigan? It would make more sense since michigan has MM laws. Does this have a connection with NC? I know the state is trying to get MM laws passed but I haven't heard of them passing. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it.

  • Most medical marijuana patients do not get "high" because they usually maintain a consistent dose in their system on a regular basis. In doing so they tend to have an elevated tolerance level versus the tolerance of the casual smoker.

A medical marijuana patient may feel a "high" (from smoking) for 5-10 minutes and then the herb settles throughout the body and the medical benefits begin. It is not what recreational smokers would consider feeling "high".

So we prefer to use the term medicated.

  • @drherbalst I'm sorry but coming from someone who smokes daily and fully supports marijuana, your claim is BS. I feel like our "culture" tries to defend ourselves by saying "medical patients don't get the same high, blablabla" Sorry but that's so incredibly wrong - you know all patients/recreational users alike are gettin straight Blown out off that loud.

  • medical marijuana patients dont get high, they "get medicated" ??? i guess im bout to get medicated myself -_-
