I just watched the first few minutes and I'm horrified. I would have brought it up to the driver and if he pulled attitude at me then I would have called Peter Pan. If that didn't help I would call the state police of whatever state I was traveling and ask them to stop the bus. I would not just keep on recording... although I appreciate you did, for the sake of exposing this.

Other than the texting, I didn't have of a problem with anything he was doing. But yeah, texting while operating public transportation is very uncool. But looking at a piece of paper, eating, drinking? I want a driver who isn't hungry, who's had a coke to stay alert.

I'm in a wheelchair, so once I'm on a city bus I'm usually too far away for conversation. However, when I'm getting on and existing the bus, I'm always sure to say good morning and express my heartfelt thanks.

First I am a coach driver. NO ONE talks to us. We get so bored just looking at the road. I put my ipod in when I hit the highway and have no problems. if you listen to the entire clip, no one is even talking to each other. it is daylight out and the passengers cant even have a conversation among each other. Yeah i listen it usually keeps me entertained. So if you feel the driver is tired or doing to much Paperwork, why didnt you CONCERNED passengers offer to help him? Or ask how his day is?

It sounds like you drive a cheese bus & are mostly on the local streets where you would not need to keep yourself occupied. Its a whole different ballgame on these over the road gigs. You would see an emergency vehicle way before you would hear it just by costantly checking your mirrors. I believe these guys do a great job for the most parts and should be reminded of that everytime you step off their bus safely.

It is useless to complain about bus drivers, especially in Boston. The drivers union rules. Innocent passengers are falsly accused all the time of crimes when they try and complain.

The MBTA has accidents all the time, and they ignore complaints, even when you have photos and video!

It is a violation of US law to talk to the operator while the vehicle is in motion. What if the driver ignored him? This way evidence can be shared with the public who may cause accountability. Else the negligence will continue. He tried telling the company. The videographer is not a cop.

The driver was fine just like the pilot and co-pilot of the flight to Buffalo that crashed and killed 50 people due to operator negligence and violations of company and FAA rules. In Boston 50 people went to the hospital after a trolley operator was texting while driving. $9 million damage to trolley cars. Same problem distracted driving.
