i have sky on my xbox and i fuckin love it! i actually get it free cos our household has sky anyway so all i need to do is type in the account details in the xbox and i get all the channels free. IT WORKS LIKE A DREAM

@plummit I love it on 360 too, 360 has a pack available - sky sports and entertainment 1 month for free, you buy it with 3 months gold card and a remote, effectively your buying the remote and 3 months live gold for 14.99 uk.

I was very sceptical about any streaming issues with live sky over broadband, but it works without any issues ie, buffering.

For any sports fans that dont have sky, I reccomend the 1 month sports pack, 10/10.

You get Sky sports 1, 2, 3, extra.

Not only has xbox 360 always bin better then ps3 but the original xbox was definitely better then ps2 (I switched directly over from ps2 to xbox after playin playstation since PS1 dropped!) and you can't compare microsofts old products with sony's old products, I mean full blown computers comparing it to a playstation:P

good old microsoft, i knew the xbox 360+sky deal would be a shambles. so funny. everyone is saying it will be free.... not likely. if so everyone in the uk will jack in there sky boxes and buy (god forbid) an xbox360 and watch sky for ever for free. i dont think so. ps3 have there heads screwed on. they use corperate sponsers to fund there free applications they provide. no catches no stings. and it works. i use my xbox360 as a door stop and it cant even do that right. lol

ugh, he sure likes saying 'content' dont he, a bit of info on this though, from what ive read the sky player will only be free on your xbox if you have a sky multiroom or sky broadband subscription, you can also subscribe if you dont have a sky dish for the standard sky player subscription which is around £10 a month as you only get a selection of around 20 channels

You don't need to be a sky subscriber, have a sky dish or box to watch the 360 sky player. It's all done directly through your internet connection. Anything you want to pay for, such as box office movies, you can do online.

Go down to spotlight on your Xbox dash, scroll along to Sky Player and read it yourself.

Vidzone is the biggest piece of crap to be on my screen. This'll atleast be decent. Watching actual TV through a console, without downloading a thing.
