  • will it play crysis?

  • that is an expensive pc to maintain in a long run

  • and of course he's asian

  • I once overclocked my 4 x 2,6 to 4 x 3,1 Ghz. Then it showed me a white screen. :D

  • i got 10 3DMarks

    P.S. Just joking......:-P

  • Windows xp ftw!

    I still use it

  • i use to hold the world record, until i decided to look at porn..

  • Always those asians!

  • "Don't try this at home!"

    *Step 1*

    *Step 2*

    wut

  • YEAH singapore!

  • nitrogen is old school, now we use helium

  • Windows XP....

  • @danysat1 You do know this video was made in 2007 right?

  • Comment removed

  • wait he didnt spread the thermal compound?

  • @domeee11 there is a billion ways to apply thermal compound you can make boobies if you want ;)

  • @SuperBrandango what do you mean by boobies here?

  • @domeee11 you can make pictures on the cpu with the thermal compound then mash it down, it was intended for laughs

  • alright, so hes done oc'ed this pc, what will he use it for that requires high speed like that?

  • @domeee11 minecraft, duh

  • @killmanha why do you need such high cpu for playing minecraft lol.. it doesnt look it need high performance for that kind of game?

  • @domeee11 was being sarcastic xD

  • @domeee11 lol minecraft is notorious for needed a much more powerful pc than it would seem by the looks of the graphics quality xD

  • dam this is crazy

  • fake

  • man I bet you could play crysis on that.

  • you know that mutha fucka was huffing that nitrous the whole time, they should have outtakes of him doing it lol

  • i dont see the difference

  • Whats the point of doing this 181 times when u could just play crysis on max settings after doing it once?

  • and the point of this is?

  • @invalidumozak

same as the point of you beeing here (watching this)

  • @de1avu i stumbled upon this, how did they stumble upon that shit?

  • World record my ass..my pc is way better you suck.

  • How about try to break an underclocking record?Like making i7 run like a crap.

  • @honam1021 there is actually a record for that.

  • @Madr0cker I heard theres a Pentium 1 runs at 8 Mhz.Is there a record that is worse than that?

  • @honam1021 yes the record is 7.07 MHz with an Intel Pentium Overdrive.

  • @honam1021 It already does....AMD FTW!!!!!!!

  • @honam1021 Chalenge Accepted.

  • @honam1021 i7 is already crap, dont worry

  • But will it blend?

  • ONLY ASIANS.

  • LGA 775 LOL

  • what game requires that much power? GTA 17: Universal?

  • liquid nitrogen cooling... really.... cant believe that doesnt freeze it

  • How did you/he/she make all this nice effects and animations?

  • WTF with the textures ? With all textures disabled i can get 25000 points too, this is fake and gay.

  • @centralandrei66 dude this is 2007

  • I'm new to this oveclocking business. I have a pentium dual core cpu T4200 @2.00 GHz (crap, I know). How much it is recommend to overclock? And also the sales clerk said that since I have dual core system in reality my cpu should run at something like 4.00Ghz. But my cpu still has a problem when running an app requiring 3.00Ghz or even 2.5Ghz, even if the app actually supports multicores. What's the deal? Please help! :)

  • @WXKFA lol the clerk said it should run at 4.00 ghz, what a douche! did he say because it has 2 cores, it was double the speed!? 2ghz is 2ghz, no matter how many cores it has.

  • But can it run Crysis 2?

  • @smackbookpro PC's from 2005 can run Crysis 2, the real question is can it run Crysis 1.

  • But the question is will it run Doom?

  • limadooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love how people don't realize this isn't for a game it's for a benchmarking test...

  • just make your room a freezer

  • what the hell is going on

  • crazy ahahaah XD

  • but will it blend?

  • My Intel E8500 CPU is 24/7 over-clocked @ 4.1GHz from 3.1 GHz. Turned my Vista score into 5.9 from 5.7, maxed it the f@#k out!

  • @MyGunzBurst VISTA?! automatic fail..

  • What's is that? The Terminator's dildo?

  • Are you fucking kidding me? Why even waste the time and effort? Go cure cancer or something dude! NOONE IN THE WORLD IS GONNA DO THIS JUST TO PLAY A GAME. STUPID!

  • @TrevorBall85 Noone does this to play games... Just like people dont drag race to get to the corner store. Nub.

  • too bad by now this is outdated

  • asians FUCK YEAH!!

  • i bet i have the lowest score! 500

sometimes i gotta put videos in slo-mo to play

  • successful fail. the obligation of liquid nitrogen makes the computer virtually useless. hard linking additional units would be more effective, cheaper, more reliable and easier.

  • yeah if you play games or know about how to fix a computer, you never get laid.... :/

  • Hahaha, beautiful island of Taiwan? Last time I was there Taiwan was anything but beautiful.

  • and another thing... left my PC on last night, came out to use it, and the mouse would move just fine, but whenever I would try and click on anything, nothing would happen.

did I get a virus that attaches to my fucking wall outlet or something? I don't get this shit.

I could go build a brand new PC right now, and it would probably run slow as fuck with how my luck has been going.

I've build a couple PC's in the past, and THIS one, and it ran fine for a year, one day just fucked up.

  • @1981z28camaro Have you overclocked it at all or messed with the ram timings?

  • @misterpc23 yup

  • @misterpc23 but apparently it's physically impossible to damage a CPU without it just shutting down the PC, so I guess it's impossible for it to be the cause of the issue then.

  • @1981z28camaro No, you can overvolt the cpu and have it die b4 it can shut down or change a setting in the bios so it does not automaticlly shut down. You can't kill your cpu by upping the multiplier too high but over volting it can kill it. Most mobos default is to let the cpu heat up and die. Intel chips are the only ones that really throttle the cpu speed incase they heat up too high. AMD tends to leave the responsiblity in the users hands

  • @1981z28camaro If you have left the settings at those that your friend set, then it could be that your CPU is throttling itself. Go into your bios and return it to default settings. check if it works then if it doesn't you may have killed either your RAM or your CPU. I've had RAM die on me a few times, and often in quite strange ways. you would expect it to just die and your computer shut off and not start. But that is not the case.

  • @stephenTcartwright Just to let you know though. It's soooooo unlikely that you have damaged your CPU or RAM. If you have an Intel CPU it's especially unlikely. If you continue to have problems i will try to help, but you will find much more educated help on an overclocking forum. Those of the Overclockers UK website I find most useful. and overclock (dot) net are good too.

  • I updated drivers, and everything, and NOTHING I do seems to work, and this PC is now an entirely new PC short of the CPU... could the CPU be causing this? I OC'ed it to 3.6 Ghz, it's a Core i5 750, I had someone help me with it that is experienced..

but everyone says it's impossible for a damaged CPU to cause this, so if that's the case, then I have no idea what the issue is, pretty much a entirely new PC, totally different HD, and I have the EXACT same issue, and its getting worse.

  • Can someone PLEASE help me out? I am going nuts, my PC is slow, (and please assume that I have done the most logical things, because I have) I have been using computers for years, I have reinstalled Windows, Formatted my HD, bought a new HD, swapped out all the parts, swapped out the PSU, Memory, Motherboard, I haven't downloaded ANYTHING since installing Windows 7, prior to this my PC ran super fast, I wont go into specs, but believe me, their enough.. What's going on?

  • i have a problem with this overclocking it restarts my computer how to fix??

  • @Genncteam reset your motherboard bios setting, read your motherboard manual for direction to reset the board bios setting.

  • i have a problem with this overclocking it restarts my computer how to fix??

  • Restart computer.

  • Warning:Do not try this at home.Try it at your ex's home.

  • Nice, he has to OVERCLOCK his girlfreind to play with his floopy disc !

  • OMG that is awesome!

  • Because a freezer wouldnt even come close to the temperatures that liquid nitrogen generates

  • The AMD Radeon HD6990 is faster than the world's fastest graphics card. AMD built that one too.

  • no me gusto tu video

  • wow that kicks ass! very cooooool

  • If i dont try this at home, where the fuck am i supposed to try it?

  • @JIOnYXXX your best friend's home

  • this coling equipment cost more than all parts of your PC ;)

  • cool

  • @schlehrbear LMAO!

  • @schlehrbear

    haha

  • goddamn

  • Yes, because I have a cylinder of liquid nitrogen in my bedroom!

  • immer diese chinesen :)

  • I wonder what would happen if you would put 1000 of these machines in a cluster.

  • On air, 27250 from me...

  • my record is like 207. on my laptop, that is. gonna build a pc soon :).

  • This is making me want to buy a console....

  • i would rather go to north pole then placing tat in my room!!

  • nitrogen is a little dangerous

  • Or you could get a better computer.

  • you would go more panic and PEE over your cpu for cooling either

  • lol 2:22 it Energy Star Certified :D

  • Now days, my grandmother's computer gets more 3d mark points when she benchmarks it and plays Need for speed hot pursuit and she is 82!

  • funny how in 3 years this is shit.... i make over 50000 with no ease

  • HAHAH

  • @godbluffvdgg I don't know

  • this is fucking stupid extreme over cooling wtf, just put the fucking thing in your freezer if your that desperate to play games

  • @TheLobsterOfFate 2nd option:

Buy a Intel Core i7 @ 4.1 GHz 192 GB RAM with a Nvidia GeForce GPU with 2 GB VRAM. That's better. Btw, I'm sending this on a Mac with a 2.4 Core 2 Duo prossecor and there's a 2.93 GHz Single-Core Pentinum 4 computer hooked up to my TV and to top that theres a Intel Pentinum Dual-Core @ 1.6 GHz.

My pentinum only has 512 MB of fucking RAM, I'm gonna buy two 1GB DDR2 RAM board thingys to replace the 512 GB RAM.

  • @TheLobsterOfFate is your freezer -196C ??

  • @TheLobsterOfFate obviously a bad idea because a freezer has so much moisture in the air it'll short circuit your shit.

    fail troll is fail.

  • @TheLobsterOfFate u mad bro?

  • @convex37 no sister im not mad,

  • is that really needed to increase voltage??? i have OC my e5400 into 4.0 Ghz but i didn't increase the voltage , did my cpu get faster??

  • @SkulLzSouL hey you don't need to increase voltage to overclock, but you do for extreme overclocking or sometimes to stabilize the clock

  • :l

SHUT THE HELL UP ABOUT CHUCK NORRIS.. god.. what the f**k does Chuck Norris have to even do with a fuckin computer?

  • @xMeowAndClubPenguinx DONT YOU DARE Talk about God like that!

  • chuck Norris overclocked Zuse Z1 to 10 THZ. Then he got bored and overclocked UNIVAC to 7 PHZ, built it into a pencil and sold it on the secret chuck Norris auction site. But today he's gone too far, He's extracting brains from all the world leaders and overclocking them!

  • @pinjimandvakito did they died?

  • @pinjimandvakito Chuck Norris doesn't exist so SDFU..... Btw it is not possible to clock it to the THZ rage Not even 10+ GHZ.... the heat generated will be too much

  • @weisheng2009 Chill man, It's just a Chuck Norris joke!

  • @weisheng2009 I think you'll find he does exist.

  • in soviet russia, computer overclock you!!!

  • @vono360 What song is this?

  • Chuck Norris can max Crysis on a Commodore 64.

  • Would love to play pong on that !

  • chuck norris can O/C a gameboy...

  • whats the song past 1:40?

  • got 11.8 sec(1th/10M) in UniverseBench on c2d(2.9,1g)

  • Best overclocking guide is here

  • 1.32 Hehe ^^

  • chuck norris ddid it with a c64 computer

  • what game or film is that in the screen?

  • @xPaTH2PaiNx Its 3D Mark. I'm not positive on what version but its just a video kinda like a video that forces your computer to work very hard in order to run it.

  • just a question, basically i asume to overclock, you typically just increase multipliers, bit by bit, until you reach your maximum posible setting (that is stable), but i read about increasing voltage, when do i know that i have to increase voltage?

  • lol 3 years old vid... those components really wouldn't break anything nowdays

  • @freeridelifedotnet Like i said, i had 5 of these motherboards. asus striker formula's, extreme, etc... the 680 and 780 chipsets. actually i didn't get the 790 anymore i was fed up with nvidia chipsets. They get too hot. Simple as that... Like i said the motherboards all of them could hardly handle factory default settings. I wouldn't dare put a qx9700 on one of these as the motherboard probarbly wouldn't even boot on default settings.. Getting my drift??? They get too hot...

  • Comment removed

  • @freeridelifedotnet i bought myself an asus x58 extreme last year and it overclocked like hell. Not the measilly 25% i got out of the strikers, but 75% easy. I bought an nvidia chipset to do SLI, but now the drivers are all hacked for intel chipsets to do SLI and i feel robbed. Because these boards really didn't offer that much more options other then SLI. Which is why they were premium.

  • @freeridelifedotnet Rampage extreme 2 actually. which is very easy in overclocking.

  • @chriss179 Honestly, with me being around the tech ind so much in silicon valley... I don't know one over clocker who has gone through "5 boards" of one kind. The same board that is giving em problems. Look... you don't need to lie online to impress people. The minute I start hearing 5 of these, 10 of those, 3 of these, 4 of those, it quickly becomes apparent who is blowing brown, and who knows their skit. Because modders are generally humble.

Btw, yes, the rampage series runs good.

  • @freeridelifedotnet Look mister humble and whatever you want to flatter yourself and others with, this is not just me telling you this chipset sucks ass. Just google striker extreme overclocking issues. you'll find tons of people telling you they can't even reach 3 ghz with their cpu's and you'll find the same stuff i just told you. The 680 and 780 simply overheat on quadcores. doing dual core isn't a problem. But duo's are cheaper then the board. So why pay premium if it can't deliver premium?

  • @freeridelifedotnet Nvidia introduced the 790 just to be able to cope with the qx9770. and i'm talking chipset here. not the motherboard. The northbride of 780 simply can't handle a quadcore on 400fsb. Not even on stock everything!

  • @freeridelifedotnet Your talking wrong voltages and i'm talking stock.. default factory settings. You really have a hard time reading right????

  • @freeridelifedotnet i told you and i will tell you again. I have had 5 of these. I don't care if you don't believe me. It's that simple. i'm an enthousiast and no, my daddy doesn't pay for anything. I do!

  • @freeridelifedotnet

    Processor Number QX9770

    # of Cores 4

    # of Threads 4

    Clock Speed 3.2 GHz

    L2 Cache 12 MB

    Bus/Core Ratio 8

    FSB Speed 1600 MHz

Nvidia 780, meaning striker formula and striker extreme... Many of them will say they support, but most will not even boot on factory settings. FACTORY SETTINGS!!! NOT OVERCLOCKED! NO VOLTAGE CHANGED! FACTORY SETTINGS! Meaning you'll have to RMA until you get a board which will boot. meaning 5 boards will be rma'd easilly.

  • @freeridelifedotnet Many overclockers have succesfully overclocked core2 duo's to 4.5 on this board. But overclocking quads simply doesn't work very well. Those lucky few who can reach high clock speeds are very very very few. i've had boards not even being able to overclock 10%.. the best result i got was 25%. and i'm really not the only one telling this. Just look on overclocking forums and the hordes of dissapointed overclockers is immense on this board. This board was a historic failure.

  • @freeridelifedotnet In fact everyone will tell you the asus maximus was just fine. The striker extreme, formula, etc, p5n32e -sli, etc, which all used nvidia 680-780 and 790 were crap. It has nothing to do with asus but everything to do with nvidia. The northbridge cannot handle quads very well. and overclocking is only for the very very few. the 790 was created JUST FOR THE later cpu's which had 400 fsb (x4 = 1600). Because most boards couldn't even boot this speed with a quad.

  • @freeridelifedotnet Overclock3d-dot net review:

the Striker II couldn't quite keep up with the rest of the pack, falling over 300mhz short of the maximum overclocks obtained on the Asus Maximus (X38) and DFI Lanparty (P35) motherboards. In desperation we even bumped the Vcore up to 1.55v and increased the default Northbridge voltage by 0.16v. This only seemed to make matters worse, with the Northbridge temperatures verging on 80°C and the Southbridge also getting pretty toasty at 64°C.

  • @freeridelifedotnet Really do your homework before you insult people.. If you want to debate then go google some of the overclocking forums on this board. Since i've owned 5 of them like i said and had endless problems i've searched these boards quite enough and i can tell you that i'm not one of the few who had disastrous results.. In fact ONLY duo's could overclock. Everywhere i looked.

  • @freeridelifedotnet does your corei7 run on an nvidia 680,780 or 790 chipset??? Actually it probarbly doesn't. In fact you'd be a frikkin genius being able to package a cpu yourself or build some type of converter for the socket. talk about being a genius... The striker has a front side bus. Wheres that on your core i7?? Oh and your talking watercooling like that would make a difference. just go google the striker 2 overclocking issues and you'll find thousands of dissapointed people

  • Comment removed

  • @freeridelifedotnet Maybe your an employee of asus and don't like bad publicity. Thats called a mingling of interests in my country. But those thousands of people who have been dissapointed by this particular board aren't interested in your attempts to sell. They want the best product because it's their money and they paid premium buck so they wanted premium performance. Don't believe me. Believe the only thing you will read once you google striker 2 overclocking issues.

  • @freeridelifedotnet What do routers, hubs, switches and protocol layers have to do with this board not being a good overclocker? Layer 3. But actually you should stay on topic.

  • @freeridelifedotnet What do routers, hubs, switches and protocol layers have to do with this board not being a good overclocker? Layer 3. But actually you should stay on topic. If you wan't to claim victory because you think your smart and everyone else is dumb go ahead... You've shown not to care anything about actual facts but showing how smart you really are....

  • Comment removed

  • @freeridelifedotnet So your telling me that my 5 boards experience doesn't stand for the many people just 1 persons experience. That all the reviews on the board is for dumb google folks.. Can you tell me how you aquire information at in this age? You buy motherboards yourself or you actually read some reviews??? Oh yes, when the striker extreme was released the quad industry was in it's infancy and reviews were very good on the striker. When quads became popular the striker became infamous.

  • @freeridelifedotnet It's really stupid. I copy reviews and they are stupid. I give you forum experiences, they are stupid. I'm stupid for even giving you these. My own experiences are stupid. Can you tell me what is a reliable source IF NOT the reviews and user experiences on overclocking boards???

  • @freeridelifedotnet Ofcourse my off memory 5 boards experience is stupid. My debating on these forums is stupid. The reviews are stupid.... Thousands of people are simply dumb. Because it's too easy to simply copy the evidence... Thats the argumentum ridiculous.

  • Comment removed

  • @freeridelifedotnet Actually before i got my software engineer degree i was a network administrator in "maastricht - the netherlands". That was the novell 3,12 - windows NT4 era. So i have some understanding of networks (IPX and TCP/IP). star/ring. layers, etc. But it really doesn't surprise me you'd go off topic and end in absurd arguments. Because you really don't want to admit that the board in this video was cherry picked.. That the nvidia core2 chipsets sucked.

  • Comment removed

  • @freeridelifedotnet Actually thats why they give you a diploma. But i didn't see you sharing those when you were calling yourself a silicon valey industry technician. While your personal page tells us you are doing graphic design. Does that mean you do graphic core development or your just a modeller/texturer??? You don't actually make the bells and whistles move, but you make the bells and whistles...

  • @freeridelifedotnet See i was taking you serious.. But you've done nothing but bring arguments against (ad hominem) me and any relevant source while claiming yourself to BE a reliable source. Then trying to stupify the problem again by saying there aren't thousands. Well sorry to bust your bubble, there are thousands upon thousands of people with the same issues i had. google:"need help overclocking striker 2" and happy reading.
