you just completely made my night. my mom is pretty damn catholic, so, this past summer, i got sent to the world gathering of christians, formally called World Youth Day. i made a friend there, (it was held in spain... major Catholicism there) and he came from a highly devout catholic family. he now pokes me daily.

There are a lot of things about Facebook that annoy me, but many of the things you mentioned just don't. Poking is stupid, but it's not bothersome. And I'm actually a big fan of song lyric statuses, but whatever. This is why opinions were invented.

I mostly get upset with people who don't bother to spell/grammar check their statuses before posting them. I REALLY hate when girls post depressing statuses every five minutes to get others to consol them on their terrible boyfriend troubles.
