@xmgohawks I had this problem.. then I looked on Amazon MP3 downloads and there it was! Surprised they have it and not itunes, but very very glad as after hearing it on Burberry I had to have it :) Hope this helps

Oh my goodness. I bought this on tape over 30 years ago in London and I still have it! This song continues to move me. Wow, thank you. I didn't think it would still be playing now after all these years. The album was a collaboration with Pam Nestor (sic?), please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you, again. x

@calver54 Yes, it's from Whatever's For Us, Joan's debut album, back in 1972. Eleven of the tracks were co-written by Pam Nestor, who wrote the lyrics. This is one of them. Joan wrote the music, plays piano, guitar and of course, sings - plus she wrote the lyrics for 3 of the songs, including the fabulous 'City Girl'. Joan Armatrading is one fabulously talented lady.

Looked for this song on the net, yet it was, rather is hard to find. The first time I heard it was about 10 years ago and I almost fell over hearing it. Amazing, what a heart bending medley...just absolutely beautiful. Only one of her albums has it I believe her first. Whatever's for us, Amazing just amazing. The only place that I really..ever found it was on that album and here..thanks so much.
