walter davis....the greyhound.....sweet d....the candy man....the man with the velvet touch......6 time all star and 2 time all pro, he really should be in the hall of fame, he was in my opinion the best mid range shooter of his time.....maybe ever, if he shot 15 shots the guy would make 11 of them.......he rarely missed. ; )

After sitting through the imbecilic ramblings of Joel Meyers last night, I am reminded of just how amazing Chick was. In 1983 he was still doing the simulcast and calling the games primarily for the radio audience. Meaning he was more descriptive than he needed to be for the TV viewers. It didn't matter. He was quite simply the best that ever was or will be.
