  • FUCK ME, THIS IS AWESOME!

  • Qapla!! thanks for sharing this

  • so if they weren't fictional sompeq would be the current emperor

  • Amazing game. Still have the cd somewhere, wonder if it still plays on modern day macs...

  • I MUST LIKE

  • QAPLA'!

  • I can see the glow in Gowron's eyes and the smile on his wolfish face; you can tell that he's reveling in the telling of the tale. And now I know what the Klingon emblem actually symbolizes.

  • oh, I read Klingon Guitar Hero, when I klicked on it :D

  • "honor doody tradition "

  • @Salisbury2015 That would be a great comeback series....I think it would do well.....that was one of the ideas thrown around before they did Enterprise. A Klingon series would be great!

  • The Klingons are basically the Celtic Pagans and Outlaw Bikers of the Galaxies.

  • @liamcear12 The dwarves of the Galaxy! HUZZAH!

  • @liamcear12 I see the klingons more Mongolian Gengis Khan type warriors. Just look at em. Biker yes ...Celtic.......no.

  • What's with the 80's big hair do's?

  • what is this from, and where can i dl the game

  • @megasxlr2 It's a GREAT Star Trek TNG game that came out about 10 years ago. This and Dominion Wars, Away Team, and Elite Force are outstanding Trek games. When it came out is cost $9.99 NEW but was such a huge hit it sold out fast and now is only available on ebay or amazon. You can get it on ebay just type in Klingon Honor Guard. You won't be disappointed, I'm playing it again now on a 68 inch tv......

  • Gowron: Cool story, bro.

  • Is that Gawron narrating?

  • @NodDisciple1 It is indeed!

  • I don't remember this game for some reason.

  • MickTheMage, how did you manage to play the video with modern computers? I can't seem to play any of it!!! Please help!

  • @neumann1701 You need to get an Emulator

  • That's Robert O'Reilly narrating. Yay Gowron!

  • @Christheatheist1 Gowron was one of the coolest Klingons from the Star Trek series.

  • Why does this reminds me of a early 80's movie like Conan.

  • @BigBuddyWill Probably based on Conan...not the concept but the narrative!

  • This video needs better visual parts to it, but I play it on my radio show everyday. It is the message of whats being spoken. Its more, MUCH MORE than a video game to me.

  • It was only 1997 when it was made, I saw alot worse in mainstream videogames back then.

  • @pillarofsouls Even done in 97 playing it today again on a giant tv it is still outstanding!

  • Hungry for BATTLE and freedom! Never will you experience life at its fullest when your about to die. I know. And praise be to Jesus for allowing me to say. Many times.

  • Isn't that Galron's voice?

  • yea its Gowran

  • That is extraordinary,

  • Cool. :)

  • For some reason this narration reminds me of the opening of "300"

  • @swordnerd108 300 took this from KHG!

  • Is this the same narrator guy from 300/The Deadliest Warrior?

  • Yea he's a Klingon in real life lolz.

  • If only that were true. LULZ. XD

  • I dunno about Deadliest Warrior, but I don't think Robert O'Reilly plays on 300. O'Reilly plays Chancellor Gowron on TNG and DS9, who is narrating this vid.

  • Ah, he just sounds like that guy from "300" I guess. X-(

  • Maybe. He played Gowron on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

  • Anyone else here Kirk screaming "Khaaaaaaaaan!" at 0:44.

Even if they aren't the right words, I still hear, "Buried alive..."

  • This is an awsome game but I cant get it to play right on my current laptop. It sorta plays speeded up, almost like someones hit the fast-forward button! lol

    Still havent figured it out.

    thanks for posting the intro!

  • i have the same issue. i guess it just doesn't like newer computers. if you come up with a solution, will you let me know? thx

  • what is your problem running the game? most games have patches released with fixes, make sure the game is updated with the latest patch.

if that does not fix it there are many ways to get games to work on newer comps, with a few tricks.

  • I used Zeckensack's wonderful and free Glide Wrapper to play the game in XP. The Direct3D support that is added with the one and only patch for the game is very poor. Without the Glide wrapper, you will probably have to use software rendering. The game uses an early version of the Unreal engine (not much different than the one used in the original Unreal.) .zeckensack. de/ glide/

  • Yeah Microprose ain't doin' much these days for KHG, so if there were a patch, who still supports it? But that other workaround you mentioned, I'll have to give that a shot. Thanks!

  • what does P'Tac mean?

  • actually its spelled petaQ.

its a strong word for Coward/Enemy

  • Since it's a curse word, wouldn't a more appropriate approximation be "chicken$#!+?" XD

  • true enough but that would be the Human Translation.

  • I've played this game. It was fun.

  • may' vISuvqang HochDaqDaq, wo'vaD!

  • is the planet of the klingon ppl called Cronos??

    like the titan?

  • No, it's Qo'noS :P

  • Ahh, lol Ty.

It sounded like that. And they do have links with lot's of other.. err... high standing 'things'.

Though the word 'things', makes it look like it's not well thought about.

  • My father use to tell me this story before he tucked me into bed every night!

  • We on the Bajor had similar stories!

  • @hildre2007

    Wow that is amazing.

  • maj

  • Whoa - sounds like the Intro of Conan! Cool!

  • kligons are nothing short of amazing

  • @TrekkieAtlantis

    WHY YES WE ARE!!

  • I would --SO-- go see an all-klingon movie, whether it was done in TNG present day or in the ancient past.... or perhaps a cross of both? anyone ever read the Novel "Kahless"?

  • I'm not a (devoted) Klingon or StarTrek fan, I just like it.

    But I'm with you. xD

  • would Molar have gone to Sto Vo Kor? because his side fought valient, but lost. Or would his dishonor ie running away to Qu'or or deserting the High City while his men fought, have showed cowardice. I think that by running away, Molar proved to the Gods that he is a weak commander. On that ground he should go to Grethor.

  • i dont know exactly but according to klingon lore they killed their own gods.

  • I love that story

  • Grethor, yes he was an honorlees puatuak.

  • i want to see a movie above klingon, that movie go be the movie of the all time

  • Yeah, my life will be resumed to before and after this movie...

    LOL

  • There would be some epic Bat'leth battles to get the extra spots for that movie.

  • or an actual opera, that's a Klingon Opera.

  • Probably the best ST game released in a decade, a good solid storyline and loads and loads of gore, I loved all the purple/green blood flying all over the place.

  • Indeed, this game did surprise me with the amount of violence. But when a bat'leth is involved I guess it can't be helped. Were you aware that you could "turn off the gore"? All that did was eliminate the splattering of blood from the blade fights. Still, this was one of the coolest trek games made, and it was all about the klingons, baby.

  • nice vid.

i used to play this at night with the light out. used to creep me out with so much violence.

  • well what do you expect from the Klingons? A picnic?

  • blood wine and gagh. lol

  • And rokeg blood pie! :p
