I would like to go to an area where there is a long strech of beach that is not where many people go-secluded. What is the easist west facing strech of Baja that someone can go to, where someone can get away--for a second honeymoon? I've been to Cabo, but that was on a cruise in 02. I see this is on east portion. What do you suggest?
@gwg5640 I really am not familiar with the Western (Pacific) side that much, except for drives occasionally from Ensenade no. to San Diego. I know this stretch is pretty well built up. I imagine that points so of Ensenada may very well be relatively low in populaton density, but I do not know for sure. There are very good resources on the web for off roading in the baja. If you were driving down on the eastern shore (Gulf of Ca side) Punta Estrella so is open beach, however.

No, sorry. There are famous sinkholes here where brand new cars, etc have perished. And also the sand is treacherous except very near the edge of the water which is hard packed due to the tide action. But many, many cars have become stuck here. My machine is a back-engined buggy powered by a 68 VW engine and affords good traction, but even I have been stuck many times. Now I have learned the pitfalls, so now I rarely do.
