Google "Ferd'nand". These are comics without words. First I have the students describe what's happening and practice structures such as the subjunctive. Then I have them role play the situation. The result has been very good.
Aww.. they're reminding me of ME!! I started to learn English when I was 4 - 5!! If they would continue to learn English everyday inside and outside their school, watching American TV shows, listening to American songs and read alot of English books.. for sure they'll master the language eventually..
Can I suggest that teachers involove the kids in questions, Sit in a circle and each one asks the one next to them "what's your name?" or similar. Too much English teaching only has the teacher aSKING QUESTIONS.
Hi, thanks for posting this video. I saved it to my favourites because I'm about to start teachingkids english in Tokyo, and I really liked some of the fun lessons (rolypoly song). I hope you can post more videos likethis, to help newbie esl teachers out with some good ideas! Thank you. :D
Hahaha! Cute!! "How old are you?" "My name is..." ^^
I want to teach English to kids in Japan! I didn't think they learned English so young! I'm curious, are they allowed to speak japanese in the class room?
Nice video, haha the music great... I'm sure they will have great english when they get older now. I wonder if many study english at this age? I need to ask some of my friends that are studying english if they did this. ^^

It's very pleasant to watch an asian 5 year old shove game peices in his crotch in slow motion, whilst listening to American Idiot.
