But it was actually kind of hard to see some of those trails, even with the highlights. I'd suggest a brighter light... and it almost looks like a laser diode in there too although I'm pretty sure that's your Am-241 and a reflection.

Yeah it is Am-241 and I was using a flashlight in this video and the operator was a little shaky and I was using a poor quality still camera on video mode. Now I'm using an opaque projector and a nice video camera. I'll probably post a new video at some point.

I think the chamber itself is too tall so it doesn't work as well as it could.... I'm thinking I'll use a lantern globe for the next one...
