I do not think the government should be able to force a church(or even an entire faith) to allow gay-marriage, but I do not think our government should have the power to enforce a ban either. There they told me that i should keep my hair short, because if i had it long then i'd be "mocking Jesus" or something. People with tattoos and piercings were unacceptable. It went on and on. Marriage now, just as when it was created, is a government institution. The government has no rational reason to say that gays cannot legally marry. Part of the problem is that even though the Constitution segregates church and state, marriage still has a large role in both. I do not think the government should be able to force a church(or even an entire faith) to allow gay-marriage, but I do not think our government should have the power to enforce a ban either. Unless marriage is removed from our code of laws, it should be available to all citizens governed by those laws regardless of faith or sexuality.

@Jababer9 My advice to you is to pick up a beginner's book in logic (that's after you've progressed past 1st grade grammar). Maybe then you won't sound like a complete idiot. It terrifies me that people like you are allowed to breed.

@batmanpronz; It always comes down to this, people like you telling other who doesn't agree with your points of view, that they can't read the list goes on, don't know who you are and don't care to, Man having sex with a next man is wrong wrong! Assholes are made to pass waste that the body process, call me whatever but I stand by my believes. Idont see why a same-sex couples or whatever they call them now a days should be trying to change the difination of what a marriage is period!!
