SO FAKE, Sound travels in any dirction away from the source. So for it to pick up those waves and not picking up a car horn or dog bark or a BIRD it almost IMPOSSIBLE

As I understand, the way it's supposed to be working is quite scientific. If you place your microphone in a center of parabolic reflector, than only signal coming along the axis of the reflector would be amplified (This principle is used in creating a lot of similar devices, e.g. satellite dishes, radars, etc.)
