It would be your GPU, not your display, that's at fault.

Well, I'm assuming you're talking about in-game yes? Your GPU just probably isn't quite up to the challenge of whatever settings you have the game on. Either lower the settings, the resolution, or both.

nope not in game i lag when i switch the vid to 1080p HD but 720 is not lagy for me. i have a 8400 gs-N-Videa, im talking about the youtube vid

Your GPU shouldn't be THAT bad, it isn't new, but I don't think it's that old....

But I guess it has problems handling this particular video. Does it lag on other HD videos? Check my other videos (all of my videos, save my first handful, are in youtube HD).

its not lagy on 720 HD but when i make it 1080 on this vid or any ather vid that have 1080-720 choices,it lagy like hell on 1080p,infact i checked the 8400gs box,its writen on it HDCP-DVI, any thing that can fix this?,and thanks for you help :)

Try downloading a 1080p video to your hard drive and playing it from there (go to the apple trailer site or something and DL a trailer there, like the Avatar movie trailers).

Make sure it is a 1080p trailer, and see how well your GPU can play that video.

It might just be issues with your browser.

@KageNoAku thanks I did what you say but youtube still doesnt give me the 1080p option. like your videos here. Unless im still doing something wrong, I only get the HD option.

There isn't a 1080p option. I recorded this @1080p pretty much just to prove I could really. I've since moved to 720p because it's the most practical HD resolution to record at, for performance, file size, and image quality.

Youtube might eventually move to 1080p though.

Nah, without fraps the Lag is not particularly noticeable except in high action scenes. I bought THE graphic pusher game, so I'd want to play it looking its best eh?
