Pichon Barone! Please take a french lesson Gary. Also, the Pichons are always referred to as either :Pichon Comtesse or Pichon Baron. Otherwise fab show
Great show man! Not surprised that Lynch Moussas was a bit disappointing. It's a known underachieving Pauillac cru classé (along with Croizet Bages). For label drinkers only! I also like Reserve de la Comtesse very much, good value.
I just received a 1/2 case of Gloria St. Juilen 1982 and a 1/2 case of Larose-Trintaudon 1982 for Christmas. As you know they are Cru Bourgeois, but I want to say they are ready to drink now. The wines you are opening are TOO YOUNG. I could tell just by the color alone. So, lay your wine down. Now the iPhone? Mail your iPhone to me. :-) By the way, the guy who gave me the wine, was taking some 1st growth home for the holidays...all 1982. Mostly Latour. Enjoy!
I like the show man! Just saw it for the first time, and . . . I learned!! I want to learn more so I guess I'll be hittin up the old episodes to see what I can find out. Keep it up, and thanks. Cheers -
Hey Gary, here's a little fuel for you. My husband and I have turned quite a few people on to your show. WE BOTH LOVE it, and watch every one. You feature a lot of the wines we sell. We turned a friend of ours, Eric Von-Der-Haar, lol, he's a lot like you, and loves your show too! We're bringing the vaniacs, so keep bringing the thunder!!
Awesome! will continue to follow u

Sorry to bother you again, but clay/ceramic? Never heard that one before. Also, you are so correct about Pauillac.
